Hello all. This is the creator of this comic, Liam. For those who are concerned, I feel the need to clarify. There will be no future updates. Bluebird is without a doubt my biggest special interest. It started out way too ambitious and I just.. I hope you all understand. For those who want to follow my new socials, I do not have any. A lot has changed and I have no interest in posting stuff publicly for various reasons. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding this comic or my personal life, feel free to contact me on Discord!

If you are going on eternal hiatus, please archive your blog or don't delete it because your art and story is good. The fact that Yellow was able to fix shattered gems in Homeworld Bound removes all the tension for me. But fixing Steven with Rose's Fountain and Yellow would certainly change him a little. For one thing, his body would be able to sustain itself without his gem and pieces of his gem would have to be taken out of his body to restore the full product.

That would be one serious operation to get all of them out. Again, Steven is not going to be healed. At all. Right now, I am physically unable to produce comic pages. I do not have access to my computer or drawing tablet. I will not be responding or accepting writing prompts. I need to rewrite it on my own, or at least modify it. A lot of concepts I find cringeworthy and I just need to modify them to make it closer to canon.

If I end up putting the comic on eternal hiatus then I might commission someone to make a written version, me sprinkling doodles throughout. It seems too.. I want something more down to Earth, more accurate to canon. Not something that is just all over the place. I want you to help me. I want you to help me write a more down to Earth, closer to canon story.

And if your idea is good enough I want to use it for the comic, with permission of course. You will be credited on the profile of this account as well.

As to not clutter my ask box, I will open DMs here so you can send me your ideas and theories. Of course, keep in mind that if I do like your concept the comic might be somewhat spoiled for you.

Of course due to rewriting it pages are gonna be on hold for a while. A couple months at least. I want to come back strong and motivated with a good outline. But thank you for the support for the comic so far, and I hope to continue to share more with you guys. I will need you to confirm your age as a result. I do not want horrible people on my writing team. This would be for free entirely of course. Reach out to me with art examples if you are interested.

You will need to be able to replicate my style pretty well, and have experience in art, around the same level as mine.
