Interesting little tid-bit. There is an anime of this coming out in the fall. Just thought you all might like to know that. The light novel translation has been removed from baka-tsuki as the translator was insulted by the improper translators working there and the lack of administration which allowed the "bad" translators to appear. The sad part about this? Very few people will be able to find the translation now and I often use the baka-tsuki mobile app to read light novels which means I can't tell when the translated novels update and I can no longer read it while commuting.
Look for the Bakatsuki translation project, they are translaiting it So,this really is an adaptation of a Light novel unlike Tora Kiss, a manga that I though it was an adaptation when it just was a manga that got axed.
Well, anyway I really liked the first chapters, the latest ones are ok I guess, not so interesting like those ones at the beginning but at least showed some good action by the main character, overall I think that it was a fine manga, just fine, nothing more and nothing less like pretty much every light novel adaptation that I have read so far, it got me hooked on the story and it left me a like bit pissed because I probably will never know how the rest of the story goes, so pretty much it did exactly the thing that it was suposed to do.

It's meant to make you go read the LN, not as an alternative form. It would be nice if "LN promotional manga" was identified as such up front. Like the first one, this volume is made up of short stories, most of which take place between volumes 2 and 5 and were originally published in magazines before being collected here. The exceptions to this are the final two stories that were written specifically for this volume and take place after the end of volume It was interesting and Lapis is great. The second story is all about Usagi as her parents once again put the pressure on her to get married so she lies and says that Takeru is her boyfriend and they have dinner with her parents.

And before anyone asks, yes I skipped a week of episodes but oh well, not much worth mentioning happened. Normally, Light novel adaptations that are rushed never bother me. To the best of my abilities, I will try to be unbiased as possible. So what in the hell went wrong? The academy itself is an affiliated facility to train young boys and girls to become Inquisitors after they graduate. Students are placed into platoons where they fulfill missions to earn points and become experienced members of the Inquisition.

Their captain is the katana-wielding Kusanagi Takeru, Saionji Usagi is the girly sniper, and Suginami Ikaruga is the tech whiz. Under orders from the academy director and her guardian , Ootori makes nice as best she can, and Kusanagi plugs her into an ambitious for the 35th interdiction operation, which is played straight and seems to be going quite well right up until Kusanagi gives Saionji the order to start sniping…. Instantly, we see why this platoon has zero points. Kusanagi ends up on the wrong end of several mafia handguns, but is able to halve their bullets with his sword. No slip-ups, no emotional outbursts.
