Hello people! How are you? This anime caught me from the very first episode. Not a shojo , not a shonen , I guess I can define it as a spokon , or sport anime, in which the sport is quite unusual: dancing.
It reminds a bit of Yuri on Ice , but the plot is a bit more complex. Formed of 24 episodes, the first half of the season follows a plot, while the second half another plot. Our protagonist is Tatara Fujita , an 8 th grade kid who has absolutely no idea of what to do in his life and has no passion, no hobbies.. His mother abandoned him and his father does his best to give him a good life and maybe a good future. And that, folks, is enough to convince him to start ballroom dancing Yes, it all happens because of a girl.
Yes, a girl, no kidding. But soon, what started as a random decision becomes a passion, and Tatara grows so much as a character. In the second half probably my favorite , Tatara starts high school as a new, interesting person, with at least somehing to talk about. I probably have already said too much, but you need to understand who hyped I am about this show. And the episodes are so interesting!

Tatara Fujita is a young, ordinary Japanese student who wishes he had an activity he could excel in or simply be good at , in order to improve his meek personality. On the way back from school, he gets approached by a bunch of bullies who try to extort him, but is rescued by a young man called Kaname Sengoku. Sengoku turns out to be a professional ballroom dancer, who is interested in recruiting Tatara to the Ogasawara Dance Studio. He reluctantly accepts to take a few classes, but takes a step further into the competitive and entrancing world of ballroom dancing, inspired by one of the studio's other pupils, the beautiful dance prodigy Shizuku.
