Egg priority ending

Momo has been asked out. Later on, Ai, Rika, and Neiru confront Acca and Ura-Acca about their role in all this and the fact that they are members of the same organization as Neiru. Finally, Mr. Sawaki for the truth about Koito. Momoe has always been one of the more intriguing characters given her struggles fitting into a society that judges people for their looks and bases value on comparisons with a so-called societal norm.

Convenient Monsters: The problem with Frill and Wonder Egg Priority’s take on trauma

After waiting three months, the much anticipated special episode of Wonder Egg Priority , the series finale, is finally here, and the reactions are divided. But this was to be expected, as Episode 12 left way too many unanswered questions and plot threads to be tied up, making it almost impossible to satisfyingly conclude everything within just one episode.

As things stand now, the finale has a somewhat hopeful opening ending but with a depressing undertone, which isn't necessarily inconsistent with the rest of the series. Despite its faults, "My Priority" is, overall, a good episode just as capable of trampling fans' feelings as the rest of the series -- it's just not a neatly wrapped finale episode. The event that set the girls on their paths is the death of someone they care about, and all of them hope to bring that person back to life through doing missions.

The Special Episode makes it clear that these people indeed came back, however, they are not the same people.

This is the first major gut-punch of the finale. The people these girls lost have now all moved on without them, leaving them with a sense of emptiness that only they can understand. Neiru was an AI modeled after Airu, but Airu grew jealous and tried to kill her. However, Frill also shows up and, knowing Neiru is an AI like her, invites her along to become humans.

At this point the timeline becomes a bit unclear, but Neiru gives her pet mouse Adam to Ai to take care at some point, which means that she knows she will disappear; either because she knows that Airu wants her gone or she might lose the fight to Frill. Alternatively, she could have decided to voluntarily go with Frill to try and become human. Ai probably feels the same, retreating back into her shell and leaving school to escape her past.

One day, Ai passes a gacha place where she and Neiru once met, and realizes that she wants to save her. Ai runs back to the Accas and decides to continue fighting until she gets Neiru back. She began wanting to save someone she cares about, same as when she started. Rika also wants to go back and redo everything, but the Accas shut her out, so she is left wallowing in her regrets, even contemplating death.

By contrast, Momoe is the only person that actually resolved her identity issues and accepted who she is, so she voluntarily leaves first and never shows up in the episode again. On a positive note, both Rika and Ai have fixed their familial relationships to some extent, so at least they now have the support of their mothers.

Should there be a Season 2 of Wonder Egg Priority , there will still be plenty of drama that can still play out. Read Next in anime.

OST Wonder Egg Priority : Opening & Ending [Complete]

You know, I am someone who likes to write a lot, who likes to take his time getting to the point. But sometimes, you have to put that aside. Sometimes you have to cut the crap and go for the jugular. Everything that was good about Wonder Egg Priority , everything that I found enjoyable, or meaningful, or relatable, this episode grinds to dust. It is a failure on every conceivable level.

Ai reveals that she felt that adult love was dirty, with Sawaki talking about how her love for him was pure, unsullied, similar to Koito's love.

English Dub Review: Wonder Egg Priority “Confession”

Four days before I was due to get my period, I knew I was pregnant and I knew something was wrong. I was having cramps on one side of my abdomen, and when I googled "early pregnancy cramps one side," the words "ectopic pregnancy" appeared. I only had a vague and ominous idea of what that meant, but quickly learned it happens when a fertilized egg implants and grows outside the main cavity of the uterus, usually in the fallopian tube. If the fallopian tube ruptures, it can almost immediately cause life-threatening bleeding. By definition, ectopic pregnancies are never viable and never result in a baby. On the day of my missed period, I took a pregnancy test that came back faintly positive. Unlike the positive pregnancy test that had resulted in my son, who was now a vibrant three-and-a-half-year-old well into his "why? I had badly wanted to be pregnant — my husband and I had always planned to have two kids — but I felt only dread, knowing something was off inside my body.

The worst thing you can say about an ending is not that it's confusing, inconclusive, or disappointing, but that the rest of the story works better without it.

What the Hell Happened to Wonder Egg Priority?

Originally posted by miuroko. I cannot believe I have to make another one of these, only a few months after my Promised Neverland post, but here we are again. I never expected Wonder Egg Priority to be perfect; it was an anime original so there was no precedent or already existing storyline like The Promised Neverland had, and there were definitely a few shaky ideas and weird decisions made throughout the first season. But I was willing to overlook that stuff because of the uniqueness of the show as a whole and its bold takes on serious topics. After a lot of interesting new plot points were introduced in the literal last episode of the season, I figured the upcoming special airing at the end of June would answer some of my questions.

Wonder Egg Priority was a Spring anime that ended in April … or so fans thought.

It was truly a shame to see this anime go from something truly brilliant, to a downright bizarre show that is unnecessarily confusing. As she sinks deeper into isolation, she is abruptly pulled into a series of trials in a dream world, where she must save the spirits of girls who have also ended their lives from evil manifestations of the ones who hurt them. Learning this may provide a way to bring back Koito, Ai resolves to save as many of these girls as she can, alongside three other girls, Neiru Aonuma Tomori Kusunoki , Rika Kawai Shuka Saito , and Momoe Sawaki Hinaki Yano , who are all also trying to bring back their deceased friends. From here, the story takes on an episodic format, with each episode focusing on one or two of these girls trying to save the spirits that hatch from the Wonder Eggs, leading to some incredibly emotional moments. These fantastic moments and episodes are supported by amazingly good animation, a subtle yet quirky soundtrack, and solid voice acting. With all of these contributing factors, it looked like Wonder Egg Priority was going to be a perfect anime for me by the half-way point. However, there were signs in the initial episodes of the fall that was to come.
