Through his hyperactive behavior, his impatient nature and many other personality traits, Sonic serves as a powerfully relatable character to those with ADHD. Before the big screen, there was Sonic the Hedgehog , a Saturday morning cartoon following Sonic and a team of freedom fighting anthropomorphic animals who battle the oppressive forces of Dr. Created by DiC, Sonic SatAM, as it would later be known, was the first Sonic media that made me a fan of the character, a love that quickly developed into a deep, deep obsession. His cool 90s attitude was part of it, but the things I loved most about the SatAM version of Sonic were his super speed, his personality and his heroic adventures.

While it was nice to have the classic versions available, I am all in on the new, "Anniversary Mode" re-dos that make the games look and play a lot more smoothly. It was a joy to play through the games and collect the artwork and videos to populate the museum.

Sign In. Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog Hide Spoilers. This was one of my favorite cartoons back in the day. I liked it more than SatAM. Because back then I disliked serious cartoons.
All of them have their fans and particular endearing traits, however, not all of the shows were created equal. Way before the live-action movies did it, someone had the bright idea to throw Sonic off his home planet and strand him in the real world. Sadly, his human allies were a bunch of annoying kids this time around.
