Macross 30th Anniversary Project ambitious anniversary event that saw the release of numerous tie-ins and merchandise spread throughout the year. The year proved to be a significant milestone for the series, not only that it was the original Super Dimension Fortress Macross television series' 30th anniversary, but it also happens to be the year the SDF-2 Megaroad launches into space. The year was formally kicked off with the Miss Macross 30 Contest , where the winners would be cast on various Macross projects throughout the year. The most significant anniversary releases would be Macross The Musicalture , the franchise's first on-stage jukebox musical and Macross The Voice that Connects the Galaxy , an ambitious video game for the Sony Playstation 3. A special release known as the 30th anniversary box set, dubbed the "Hybrid Pack", included the original television series, the film, a disc featuring The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Flash Back , a minute bonus Blu-ray and several tie-in items.

Robotech: The Macross Saga HD Edition
Macross F , an anime series that began broadcasting in and was later adapted into two movies, is, even now, considered by many fans to be a masterpiece. The focal point of this box set to say the least is the compilation of all 25 digitally remastered episodes.
The series will look better than it ever has before when this box set releases on Dec. Being supervised by Kawamori, this box set is being exquisitely crafted. In addition to including all 25 episodes of the anime, it will also include the preview version of the first episode that aired in December as well as the later completed version.
An extended edition of episode 25 will also be included. A plethora of bonus items will be included in the box set as well. Enclosed items include a newly produced drama CD, a gorgeous page booklet, a page deluxe illustration collection, and 48 pages of storyboards from the opening sequences.
Videos from various media mix projects will be tightly packed as bonuses, including four new music video clips produced from pachinko and pachislo footage, five Joysound karaoke videos, and more. Audio bonuses will include recompiled audio commentary from the Blu-ray and DVD discs released so far, as well as newly recorded commentary from the staff and cast.
The box set will cost 33, yen tax included. Pre-orders are being accepted until Nov. Also, the box set will be a limited edition item that will only be sold until Dec. Macross F is an anime created to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Macross series.
