Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou has all of the sudden turned into a fighting anime. Beating on each other with little provocation pictured above , creeping on the girls who live next door, and giving credence to magazine horoscopes. The boys restrain their barbarities while in the presence of the fairer sex, while the girls feel no such obligation and are just constantly barbarous. Possibly this show is just a series of jokes and is not making a larger point about gender politics.

Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou Episode 8 Discussion
I count it as a major achievement when any given anime comedy makes me laugh aloud, especially since the titles that manage this are so few and far between. Surprisingly well, actually. I will admit though, I found this series a lot funnier the second time around than I did the first. Getting back to characters acting stupidly, another thing I can really appreciate about this show is that the title lives up to the reality.

Danshi Koukousei No Nichijou - Vol.1 Chapter 8 : High School Boys And The Power Of Frienship
Well, this was another meh episode of Nichibros: as a whole, there was more funnier skits but these were some REALLY short skits, but the addition of another high school girls skit was probably worth it. I do think this was a slight improvement from last episode, especially both of the high school girls skits. I wonder why these skits were much shorter, though I think this was actually a good idea for being fast and hilarious skits.
To some extent, I wonder if my reaction to Danshi Koukousei is dependent on my frame of mind when watching it, more so than is the case with other shows. As the show has progressed I feel as if the humor has gotten more conceptual and skewed, with payoffs that require a few instants of thought before I fully gauge my reaction. I also love how Hidenori continually tortures himself over how to react to situations, brought to life with great hilarity by Sugita-san. The bit with the bees and the kissing was funny too, in a stupid but clever sight gag sort of way — and leave it to ever-prepared Karasawa to carry wasp killer in his backpack. This was a rather so-so episode for me.
Main protagonists are Tadakuni, Hidenori and Yoshitake who live their lives "normaly", therefore having random arguments about random things, imagination "fights" as they go a bit wild, meeting a strange girl on a river bank and then saying weird stuff about how the wind is crying, and so on, and so on.. Since they attend an all-boys academy walking to school with a girl is a taboo, but even walking to school with a girl scene is seen in the anime. But of course that was a BIG misunderstanding. If I would be asked which episode was the best in my opinion I would say the first one because I was laughing so hard that I started crying doesn't happen very often. Well these pictures will explain better than I would with words.
