Does Kenichi the mightiest disciple get any better? SPOILERS

Kenichi is a mild-mannered freshman at a high school infested with delinquents and thugs, and what's worst of all, a member of the karate club he's joined vows to beat the daylights out of him. However, he falls literally for a beauty named Miu, who it turns out has impressive martial arts skills herself. She in turn directs him to a dojo named Ryozanpaku, where there are 6 martial arts masters in residence and where, it turns out, Miu herself lives. Kenichi's woes never seem to end, however, for not only is the training itself torture, but as he becomes more a more proficient fighter he attracts ever more formidable opponents, finally including the strongest of all, the Eight Greatest Fists gang.

You have to look at it that Kenichi is actually a spineless weakling. Episode 8 is really good. Out of all the episodes of the dub i've seen, 8 is probably.

Yazumi Kana Be strong Lyrics

I loved The Karate Kid and its story of an underdog protagonist learning karate to stand up against his bully. Not only did the movie show off the benefits of training and discipline, it developed the patriarchal bond between student and master. The anime starts with the titular Kenichi believing that martial arts will help him against his school bully. Pitying Kenichi, his quirky new friend Miu — who looks like she smuggles beach balls inside her shirt — introduces him to her grandfather at his dojo. After training under one of the six residing martial arts masters, Kenichi gains the skills to defeat his bully in a karate match.

A retool of Tatakae!

Despite being a fictional anime, Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple is inspired by actual martial arts , featuring techniques that, while they might be exaggerated for the purposes of the show, are similar to techniques used in reality. Over the course of the series, Kenichi, his enemies, and even his allies have debuted powerful techniques that they've used to get the upper hand during street fights , sometimes to the point at which Kenichi's masters are even left stunned and impressed. Since many of the moves used by Kenichi's masters are either too overpowered and sometimes aren't even real techniques but just simple maneuvers that have devastating effects due to their immense levels of strength, it wouldn't really be fair to include the moves used by Kenichi's teachers or anyone else on their level in an analysis of the strongest techniques in the series. Despite not belonging to the legendary Eight Fists of Ragnarok, Takeda was a force to be reckoned with. Not only was he quick on his feet, but his jabs were lightning-fast.

Whenever he isn't getting pummeled in the karate club after school, high schooler Kenichi Shirahama can be found with his head buried in one of the many self-help books he carries with him every day. One day, on the way to school, Kenichi accidentally frightens the new student in his class, leading her to throw him down onto the ground. After apologizing for her violent reflexes, she introduces herself as Miu Furinji and asks Kenichi to be her friend.
