Anyway, from what I've heard, he'll be a very dark villain, so I guess what you said is true. Zootopia is more for younger people while Beastars is for older audiences due to being much more dark and realistic.
Cartoons from today very rarely go dark when compared to the ones from when I was a kid, due to many people today thinking that kids shouldn't watch dark and violent cartoons, thinking that they'll want to recreate them in real life.
