The first new shorts program in over a decade will be dedicated to innovation in the art of animated storytelling, showcasing diverse stories, new voices, and mentorship of the next generation of animators. I am so grateful to the producers serving on our Creative Council and our partner organizations for their commitment to make Cartoon Cartoons a successful and creatively rewarding endeavor. 12 German Cartoon Series For German Learners (Not just for Kids!)

Show , starting in These were a series of comedic animated shorts, produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions and Cartoon Network Studios, headed by Fred Seibert who had been a guiding force for Nickelodeon, by creating Frederator Studios, producing popular Nicktoons such as Oh Yeah Cartoons!
The studio also produced the highest rated comedy premiere for Cartoon Network, Adventure Time. Changed to simply Fridays in Old Cartoon Network shows are now only shown time to time on the channel, Boomerang, along with various Hanna-Barbera cartoons. With that said, what are some of your favorite Cartoon Cartoons, and why? Do you still prefer the old CN toons over new ones? Which ones have stuck to you over the years? This is of course when Cartoon Network was at it's prime. Ed, Edd, N Eddy was my personal favorite, and still, I love that show.
Cartoon Planet is a God send since I can watch these classics again. Sure, I can go to Boomerang, which I do time to time, but I prefer watching them on the channel I grew up with. Long live old school, Cartoon Network! I think I liked That said, my parents probably liked Cartoon Cartoons more than I did! Good memories here.
I would spend the entirety of Friday night tuned into this. I used to love how a different character would host it, and how they would all interact with each other before and after each commercial break. It was like this one gigantanormous awesome super duper crossover between all of my favorite shows. And yes, I watched ALL of the cartoons listed here. Ah, I was wondering when a thread like this would pop up. Aww, the time CN didn't sucked ass and Ben 10 wasn't the only cartoon.
The only part of the day I didn't was during school time. Cartoon Cartoons is basically just Ben 10 for 5 hours a night, which is quite frustrating. My favourite cartoon cartoon is Courage the Cowardly Dog though I like tons. Johnny Bravo, KND, etc. Dexter was godly until it went to hell; after the first couple of series, his voice didn't even sound the same anymore.
Did the voice actor change or something? Out of those shows, the only ones that had any lasting impact on me were PPG and Courage. Dexter was okay and I liked it, but I can't say I ever felt like going back to it. I guess I just liked dark humor. Courage was an amazing show because it managed to combine horror themes, gross-out humor, and surprisingly touching stories at times to create a show almost anyone could enjoy.
This era of cartoons was definitely better than what we have today, but in all honesty I think Adventure Time deserves to be up there with them. Maybe Regular Show too, but AT is the only show I think really holds a candle to the Cartoon Cartoons.
A lot of other modern shows try too hard to be hip and cool, and end up coming off lame. Hell Yeah! Cartoon Cartoon Fridays was also frickin' awesome. Cartoon Network made a show about a guy who wanted nothing else than to get laid, sometimes after meeting TV's Adam West, Mr. They ran that show for 4 seasons and made a movie after all was said and done. They showed that television show to kids, all the while realizing that none of the target audience would get it.
The cartoon cartooons. It was easily the greatest output of cartoons ever made for one network. Just about all of the shows that were under this brand were good in some way. But I still found enjoyment in just about all of them. Even Johnny Bravo which, like Gilda said, I didn't get as a kid. It was like the last hurrah of the creator driven era that was the 90s.
And what I love most about the Cartoon Cartoons, is that they were all so original in some way or another. They were unique, and very rarely ran into many similarities.
It was just the greatest combination of ideas put together to make something absolutely amazing. Forgive me because this might be ever so slightly off-topic, but there's an old memory I have that no one else ever seems to talk about.
For those of you in the U. S, remember in when the network let kids vote on a Cartoon Network "President"? And oh no no no, this wasn't some boring company politics bullcrap, this was where we got to vote for cartoon characters.
