She's good-natured but extremely protective of her beloved Tweety bird. Road Runner is carefree, whip smart, and lightning fast.
Relentlessly pursued by Wile E. Coyote, he uses his speed to outmaneuver and outwit the mangy coyote at every turn-while still having time to snack on some free bird seed. Devouring everything in his path, this ravenous beast from the land down under is the embodiment of unconscious action and carnivorous rage. His voracious appetite, however, frequently lands him in trouble, and his dim wits don't work in his favor either. This pint-sized plunderer travels through the galaxy with his diabolical plans to conquer and claim every planet in the name of Mars.

The TV series is a reboot of the Looney Tunes cartoon series but, this time with it being mostly centered around Bugs Bunny and occasionally his squirrel friend, Squeaks who was freshly introduced in this iteration of the Looney Tunes Cartoons. This cartoon was said to be a follow up from the Looney Tunes Show , stating that Bugs Bunny had left the suburban life and returned to the wild. Wabbit reaches back to the former roots of the original Looney Tunes cartoons by bringing back more of their original characters such as Foghorn Leghorn, Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote and more as well as making each episode 6 minutes long rather than being traditionally 11 minutes long like most cartoons of today. In order for Bugs to reach an airport, he must traverse through a haunted forest and deal with an evil living tree that purposely stole his luggage and refused to return it to him. Later on in the episode, Bugs outsmarted the tree and used a leaf blower to inflate the tree making him float away.

By comparison, the original content launched with the new service seemed minuscule. Bugs Bunny and crew are back in all-new animated shorts that pay tribute to the zany, irreverent and cartoonishly violent shenanigans of the original theatrical shorts from the s. In fact, these episodes are so pure in their depiction of these characters that they might be the best iteration of them in decades. The '90s may be the last time that Warner Bros. Although these shows focused on almost entirely new characters Babs and Buster Bunny, the Warner kids Yakko, Wakko and Dot the animation was highly energetic and the jokes were just as sharp as ever, making them excellent successors to the original cartoons. The new shorts' crisp animation flies across the screen at tremendous speed with the kind of physical comedy only achievable in a Warner Bros. The series, however, achieves all this without a running meta commentary on itself while utilizing the iconic characters audiences have come to know and love.

Ever since HBO Max dropped in late May everyone seems to be talking about being able to watch Friends again or finally being able to stream the delightful Studio Ghibli library. And while both of those are great reasons to get all excited this summer, I was beyond giddy to discover the seemingly endless collection of Looney Tunes shorts both beloved classics and a new crop of beautifully animated new episodes that are streaming on HBO Max right now. For the longest time you either had to spend a ton of money on Looney Tunes boxsets, dig up all your old VHS recordings from your childhood, or settle for sketchy YouTube channels with questionable legality, but not anymore. Now you have hundreds of hours of your favorite cartoons from Warner Bros to enjoy again and again until the end of time.

It seems that everything old is new again. While many reboots get a major facelift to bring them into the new millennium, some things need no such adjustment. The ever-present feud between Elmer Fudd and Bugs Bunny is one such example. For over 80 years, these two characters have entertained both young and old, spanning multiple generations and always making us laugh. The short is part of a new initiative by the studio to release 1, minutes of new animation each season which will be streamable across multiple platforms and devices. Initially announced last year, the new shorts will employ a more cartoonist-driven approach to storytelling.
New Looney Tunes Season 2 Episodes
Warner Bros. Discovery has announced an all-new preschool show set in the Looney Tunes universe titled, Bugs Bunny Builders. Whether building a thrilling new racetrack or creating an out-of-this-world ice cream sundae, no job is too big or wild for the Looney Builders when they work as a team and utilize their super-looney tools and souped-up vehicles. The show offers parents the chance to share their favorite Looney Tunes characters with their preschooler while also teaching little ones about the technical, creative, social, and emotional rewards of the building and design process.
HBO Max is getting even more Looney Tunes content very soon, and now we have our first look at the new episodes that will premiere on Thursday, January 21st, courtesy of a new trailer. The new trailer spotlights the ongoing battle between Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd, though this time Fudd brings in a Fudd-styled robot to help him out. If Bugs makes it out of the arena, there will be plenty of foes waiting to match wits with him including Elmer Fudd, a leprechaun and Cecil Turtle.
A new set of comic covers brings together Warner Bros. As soon as I could get some combination of the Justice League with the squash-n-stretchy gang of animals, I was hooked, especially when they came alongside McNuggets. You better believe I collected all of those figures, including the Duckmobile made for 5-and-under kids. With so many hitting comic racks, the quality may vary some, but when they work, they really are something else.
In case you haven't heard, Warner Bros. I wouldn't be surprised if other Looney Tunes characters pop up along the way. Coyote and Road Runner. Each film will screen before a major WB family film. This year marks a return to the big screen for Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote , two of the most popular Looney Tunes characters of all time.
