Kokoro connect worth watching

The anime itself is just riddled with problems that are almost assuredly going to keep it from top-of-the-charts status. Interest or lack thereof in the characters or genre is a frontier dominated entirely by opinion—but there are still a lot of claims that either is extremely subpar in general. If we take a moment to completely remove the specific idea of body-switching, Kokoro Connect is left with something resembling a traditional basis for an anime: a group of characters who are brought together, tested, and tempered by some sort of catalyzing plot device. But whereas that concept typically involves a group of close friends, Kokoro Connect switches things up a bit by throwing together five people who are, in the beginning, straddling the line between acquaintances and friends.

6-KOKORO CONNECT

The same begins to happen to the other club members, throwing their daily lives into disarray. At first the five students find some amusement amidst the confusion, but this unwarranted connection also exposes the painful scars hidden within their hearts. As their calm lives are shattered, the relationships between the five students also begin to change. I loved the story. Here we have a series that takes a supernatural storyline, adds some well-written high-school romance and plenty of compelling drama, and pulls it all together into one amazing package.

Although some of the ideas may have been done many times before, Kokoro Connect manages to make it fresh and funny, whilst also being surprisingly realistic with how it portrays the effects of each of the phenomena.

Ultimately, Kokoro Connect succeeds in blending its comedic school life shenanigans with more serious emotional moments, a testament to the quality of the writing and the great direction. The characters are what really make Kokoro Connect. Unlike some other school-based romantic comedies, Kokoro Connect features fully fleshed out, three-dimensional people, each with very real pasts and flaws, which was what made me really care about them as I watched their story unfold.

They are apparently all somewhat misfits, so they form a Culture Club of sorts. Without going into too much detail, we have: Taichi, an altruistic pro-wrestling fan who has a selfless urge to help others; Iori, a friendly energetic girl who is popular and loved by all; Himeko, the cool and responsible one of the group, with considerable skill in information gathering and analysis; Yui, an expressive karate practitioner, who loves cute things; and Yoshifumi - their casual friend, who is attracted to Yui though she resists his advances.

Kokoro Connect is also no ordinary rom-com. The animation is decent and consistently fluid with no break in quality. The characters, while not necessarily coming out of unique molds, collectively form an lively, entertaining, and endearing cast.

The plot is refreshing. The script is strong as well. It just kind of stops and everyone moves on, The End. What is that?! A huge portion of the story is quite predictable, so one can usually determine how an arc or scene will end without any real surprises or suspense. I found some of the characters to be highlighted more than the others. Lets take Aoki for instance. He was quite a dynamic character but not like the others. His problem was less severe compared to everyone. Poor guy.

I really enjoyed this one. It is a must see for all anime watchers and really makes you wonder about you and your friends. Every minute is worth watching and is never a waste of time.

It is really addicting and hooks you in during the first few minutes. Sorry this took me so long. My laptop is from the school and it is acting up with blocked sites when I am home. Tumblr is one of those blocked sites. Ookami Ryouko is a spunky and, by some accounts, rather manly high school girl. She is tall, speaks in a traditionally masculine way and is very proficient in fighting. Ookami and Ringo are members of the Otogi Bank, a club in Otogi High School that assists students with their problems in return for their assistance on a different problem at a later date; thus, the Otogi Bank is effectively a loan institute for problems where you can take out a loan for a solved problem but you have to repay it sooner or later.

The Otogi Bank is able to solve any problem and will go to any lengths to do so, often leading the members to danger or mayhem. Since most of the members of the club are female, another male is needed for the more dangerous assignments. Thus, the scopophobic the fear of being looked at Morino Ryoushi is inducted as a member, right after he confesses his love for Ookami….

The characters were very creative in my mind. I liked how each character was based off a fairy tale or fable character. There are more characters like those. The characters are pretty unique and fun to watch. I found each character to be quite likeable which is always a plus. This show is hilarious. The Narrator is me. It was quite fun and interesting. I never felt bored at all. Ryouko is an extreme tsundere and Ryoushi is head over heels for her.

It is really cute to watch her warm up to him. Even the story leaves you hanging till the last episode. What the hell was I watching this for? The story misses its chance for a conclusive ending both dramatically and romantically, punting on both accounts and settling for making the final episode effectively filler.

There is so much potential for this to be a cooler show. The antagonist has no reason to be bothering them. Really, why does me feel the need? Overall, I liked it. It was ok. Nothing special. I was thoroughly disappointed that I was left hanging. It was quite short and I finished it in 4 hours. I really wish that there was a second season or entire series. I think it could be popular.

Even though it was quite flawed, it was really cute and hooking. After this duel, we travel with them and their conflicts together. I liked the action. The sword fights were well animated and kept you on your toes. I liked the drama as well in this. You had time to breathe in between. For a lowkey anime, I was impressed with how it was able to hook the viewer in. This show knows how to keep a plotline moving.

I liked that the characters were developed accordingly. It does not seem like character development occurs but it does. The romance is what saved this show for me.

Usually in action genre animes, the main character will have a hinted romance but nothing happens. If you are one of those people who hates that, this show is your salvation. It is added in at the perfect times so it does not ruin the battles. There is a shit ton of profanity.

The fanservice is out of this world. It was distracting to me in total. It had the required cliche moments that make you want to gag. This show is like the unwanted step child of anime. It is the cheap fuggs of magic school animes. This anime was super generic and tried to be original but it failed.

Lots of character greatness was lost in the making of this anime. Alice, for instance, who the fuck are you. All we know is that he is the roommate of Shizuku and that he is like a girl. We never see this guy fight truly and apparently he is pretty strong. I thought it was fun but too generic. I was only in it for the romance to be honest.

Too bad because I could see how it could be good but it really crumbled. Um, I think people who are dedicated to anime should watch this. In this world, there exist alchemists, people who study and perform the art of alchemical transmutation—to manipulate objects and transform one object into another. They are bounded by the basic law of alchemy: in order to gain something you have to sacrifice something of the same value. The main character is the famous alchemist Edward Elric—also known as the Fullmetal Alchemist—who almost lost his little brother, Alphonse, in an alchemical accident.

All the episodes are concise and every scene is important as part of the huge plot. The dialogue fully explains everything and is straight to the point.

As multiple characters are explored there are lots of side stories, but these are all perfectly intertwined with the main story of the Elric brothers and more often than not directly influence their journey too.

The storyline itself is very original and very well planned. I think that this story is one of the best in its genre. I loved every second of this anime because it was so new and refreshing to me.

Kokoro Connect (2012) with minor spoilers

This episode has finally introduced that there really is someone behind the body swap and actually observing them. First off, let me get to my thoughts on all the body switching and how it went through. I initially thought that the three body switch will be the focus of this episode. How did the five of them deal with this body switching issue most especially the gender mix switch? In a pretty normal way, I guess.

Now that the anime summer season of has ended, it is time to look back at a few series that aired during this time. To start, let us look at how Sword Art Online and Kokoro Connect became so much worse due to strictly following their source material. When it comes to the most interesting anime concepts of this year, I would not hesitate to nominate both Sword Art Online and Kokoro Connect.

Before delving into the core of this post, I will briefly introduce Controversed, a special workshop fellow blogger Moyatori is hosting for this month. The objective of this programme is simple enough: to consider the matter of controversy, its matters and implications on the anime community, in such a way as to understand controversy. It goes without saying that this programme is not intended for courting flame wars or espousing particularly touchy perspectives, but rather, to understand different perspectives around topics that are polarising. The topic for this first week deals in controversies in our chosen field of interest. Per the prompts Moyatori has defined, I will address two aspects of controversy, specifically my thoughts on controversies surrounding anime, and also explain my preference for steering clear of these topics. In the realm of anime, it should be unsurprising that controversies exist: as a form of entertainment with a large viewer base, it is inevitable that occurrences, either in the industry producing these titles, or within the work themselves, can result in discussion that produces different conclusions.

The same begins to happen to the other club members, throwing their daily lives into chaos. At first the five students find some amusement among the confusion, but this connection also exposes the painful scars hidden within their hearts

Here are my favorite picks for anime like Kokoro Connect. Keep in my the list is in no particular order. Enjoy the recommendations! After a tragic accident during their childhood, Jinta and his group of friends split apart and live separate lives. Now in high school, the group is drawn together once more by an unknown force. Kyon, your typical high school student, has long given up his belief in the supernatural. However, upon meeting Haruhi Suzumiya, he quickly finds out that it is the supernatural that she is interested in—aliens, time travelers, and espers among other things.

Taichi finally spilled the truth, but like what Number 2 said, there were consequences for doing so. All of them, including Taichi, are now affected by the time reversal that is happening in random. The group was forced to stay in the abandoned building for as long as the phenomenon occurs, but Iori has to deal with problems at home. Her 2nd father came back and they all tried to start anew.
