Yes, OreGairu Zoku gets its own post. I waited a long time for this delayed episode seriously, no-one has officially licensed this yet? I will be linking to this in my Spring First Impressions post, as what I am writing here is a replacement for my entry for it there, since I ended up writing a lot more than I thought. Hurray, OreGairu is back! I also rewatched the first season in preparation for this. The first thing that was abundantly clear to me was the updated character designs, they are much more detailed and make the characters look slightly more mature — fitting, but it will take some time to get used to, the hair especially. I hope they keep up this quality. I could tell they skipped straight past the ramen session with Sensei, which would have likely featured some marriage and alcohol jokes otherwise — it kept the episode focused.

Something that is to be expected of course, you cannot animate every little detail, you have a release date and there is only so much you can fit into your given timeframe. To me, this episode was all about Hikki fully accepting to some extent his feelings for Yukino and conveying it to her not through the traditional way, but through a challenge whereby the goal is to be the first to get the prom to happen. This, I think, sets the stage for the upcoming episodes as they gear their efforts towards doing whatever possible between the two of them to make the prom happen for not only themselves, but for everyone who wants it to happen. While of course, being the victor of the challenge they both agreed to.
Hiratsuka finds him leaving the Christmas event planning meeting and gives him some advice, guiding him toward an answer Soubu High's Cultural Festival continues and Hachiman is stuck carrying out his duty as a committee member by documenting the day's events on film. Hachiman and the Service Club are working to solve their classmates' relationship issues during their field trip in Kyoto. It was really obvious after episode two of this season. But, man, I was not ready to see Yui in that state. As she is so kind of a soul that for the happiness of her friend she will give up the man that she loves. With having the choice to be with him at that very moment if she didn;t hold back her tears. As she held back her tears and behind her smile she basically gave up Hachiman to Yukino.
You can't not tell me how good, cute and especially HAPPY they look together ;w; protect these two at all costs please! Hearing and reading over all the details of Oregairu Shin, please I desire all of the more bonding moments of them together! They end up going on this ride named similarly to Splash Mountain. Moments before even entering the ride, Hikigaya notices the hesitation and nervousness in Yukinon's eyes and insists they should just leave.
