Last ep I was sure that the one to bite the dust would be Hotaru, with her crossing into the no entry zone and all that, but now we got Hime as good as death Originally Posted by Fairy Water. Or are you afraid to change? Last week it felt like Hotaru was going to die. And now it seems to be her instead. This is bad for the heart. Spoiler for Images :. Originally Posted by Tormenk. Well, with the possible exception of a particular area or two.

The action scenes do occasionally feel a little flat. In most ways, they feel like a weaker version of Owari no Seraph 's action scenes to me. Still, they're good enough, they're passable, they get the job done. Maihime is an excellent character. There's just so much to like about this character. She has a fairly typical sad backstory, but what makes it so refreshing here is that Maihime didn't go all angsty over seeing her home partially destroyed.

Instead, she showed wonderful resolve. This ensures that Maihime feels very human. Hotaru is a good compliment to Maihime, and I really like Hotaru's overall style. The siblings continue to have good dialogue, and Ichiya's big rage moment was fun to watch.

On the whole, I though Episode 6 was very good! But for me, Canaria's seeming death makes the current death flags flying high around Maihime to be much more compelling. It does a good job of keeping me in serious suspense.

Anyway, excellent episode for Maihime. Contact me on Wikia and MyAnimeList. Completed: Plan to watch: Marcus H. Find More Posts by Marcus H. Between the two of you, you've nailed the show's two biggest weaknesses its background "mystery" narrative, and some animation issues.

Maybe it's best to try to forget all about it, and try to experience the narrative through the eyes of the characters? In other words, not try to figure out exactly what's going on here, and just take things at face value like most of the characters are doing until key reveals are made. This is one time where my tendency to evaluate anime shows based on what we know right now , and leave the future to itself, is actually coming in handy for me.

The show's visual weaknesses will definitely hold it back from greatness, for sure, but I still think it's a pretty good show overall. It's a pleasant surprise for what I've come to expect from these types of super-powered teenager LN adaptations. At least on MAL, I see some of the more major complaints are the animation issues. Considering it's from A-1, people probably expected better animation and rightfully so.

Not only that, didn't Qualidea Code received quite a bit of hype before it actually aired? To see the animation the way it actually is, is kind of disappointing. Anyway, I do really appreciate seeing Suzuku the way he was this episode. It really showed the emotions he went from shocked, to extreme sadness, angst, and finally fury.

It did bothered me that a few commenters not here were calling him names because he was raging this episode. I think it's a normal emotion if you encountered the enemies that killed the one you care the most in the world and you could not do a think about it. Is it not? About Maihime's probable death, to be honest, I'm not sure. It may have been just me but Canaria's death was a surprise to me since I thought she got past the so called "death flags" after she was hurt singing for Suzuku only for her to die that very same episode that she recovered in.

In addition, the atmosphere of the show have been relatively light so I did not think about the deaths of the main cast really possible. The next episode after that, "death flags" seems to have been lifted for Hotaru but then this episode where it's all over the place for Maihime since we now get to know more about her backstory.

If she does die, it really does match up with how the 2 team were split up up initially Suzuku, Hotaru, and Kasumi. Maihime, Asuha, and Canaria. However if she does not, then it's not really surprising either. Basically for me, I'm not sure which path they are going to take. Who knows, they might even make it so Maihime gets knocked out in a coma instead of death. Then the next question is what they planned on doing with Asuha and Kasumi because they could just twist things around again.

Either way, I wish to be able to see more smiling Maihime. Spoiler for Mahime Tenkawa :. Originally Posted by Enternal. Qualidea Code 09 *spoilers*

He is the student representative, sub-head of Chiba and the older brother of Asuha Chigusa whom she calls "Onii". Always had quarrels with although according to his sister this is because "he only able to talk to people by replying in mean words", which is also why he can't stand the position. Kasumi has spiky black hair and thin black eyes. He wears his school's uniform with his necktie pulled down a bit. Kasumi is not very good at communicating and is quite stoic, causing him to clash with Ichiya on several occasions. He also cares quite a lot for his little sister and is quite protective of her, although he respects her strength. Kasumi's preferred weapon is a sniper rifle and he has the power of echolocation, which allows him to freely search out his targets via sound [1].

Was it me or did anyone get the impression that something was gonna awaken inside I fear you're right about Ichiya's future evol- he'll lose whatever.

He knows martial arts and is always driven to protect the weak. His journey to herohood takes a sharp turn one day when he defends a homeless man who gives him a strange tattoo in return, which turns out to be a secret weapon. If martial arts and super powers are your thing, Taboo Tattoo might be something you should keep an eye out for. Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars has very little information regarding it apart from the fact that it concerns mecha. When a giant robot attacks their homeland, a pair of girls find themselves drawn into the conflict. But the art itself looks appealing enough, and the story of how a lazy bum who disliked war and admired women would eventually become a great commander may inspire a couple of people. Tales of Zestiria the X is based on the fifteenth yes, you read that right main title in the Tales game series. This fantasy anime follows the story of Sorey, a young man who has spent time with the mystical Seraphim and as such has special powers. The final episode begins with a flashback to when Gutoku first met Airi: she impaled him on her claw. When he awoke, Airi appeared human to him again, and he seemed to be healed. Back in the present, Ichiya and the others are prepared to do battle against Gutoku, until Aoi activates her World. We already knew that it enabled communication between people, but it can also prevent others from using their World powers.

Soma went first, and he selected the scene from the final episode, where Canaria falls from the crumbling bridge after the building collapses.

Utara Canaria (CV: Yui Ishikawa) Time to Go (Canaria's Song) Lyrics

RELATED VIDEO: Qualidea Code Canaria's Song「クオリディア・コード」

Hey, guys! In other news, I recently got my English copy of Kizumonogatari. It was a shocking meeting, and it was a catastrophic one. In any case, I must have had terrible luck—of course, in the same way that I was unable to avoid that bad luck, even if I somehow had, I doubt someone else would have met that fate.

Utara Canaria CV: Yui Ishikawa Time to Go Canaria's Song Lyrics belongs to the anime Qualidea Code , take a look at the argument: Cardia Beckford can recall her father Isaac and the home where she lives alone, feared as a monster by the townspeople because she carries a deadly substance in her body. The eternally beating heart, also known as Horologium, was implanted in her chest by her father and has the ability to generate infinite power.

Content-wise, Qualidea Code starts off as your generic alien invasion affair. The fact that they rarely even mention the enemies by name shows just how little of threat they are, and the result is a far cry from the image I had in my mind coming into the series. I will say though, that Qualidea Code could be the one show that could get away without having a set of unique characters, if only because of the franchises that its creators have worked on previously. Looking forward, this is a series whose first episode will likely give you a glimpse into how the franchise will be.
