A review of the manga in its entirety I sought out this manga after watching the anime. I do not read manga often, but I devoured this from beginning to end without pause. The characters are all lovable in their own way, and to see the growth between the relationships and the development of individual characters was enjoyable in of itself.
As an anti-social bookworm myself, I loved Ritsu and her character development throughout the series. I adored Usa as it was refreshing to have a male protag A review of the manga in its entirety I sought out this manga after watching the anime.

I was immediately soaked into their world from the vivid depictions and drawings. It was wonderful. A quick read once you get absorbed into it. I recommend! It is a romance but bare in mind th Usa has decided to become independent and live on his own, the first step in that journey is the Kawai complex It is a romance but bare in mind that it is a slow burn but one that is so worth the wait and makes sense due to who the characters are. It never feels stretched out and the emotions of the characters pop out of the page, making your heart flutter as you read on. The core of the story Usa is a great character who has to put up with a hoard of crazy people, sometimes in stories like these the male MC is given no character and feels flat but not in this story.
Usa is one of my favourite characters in this story and his wit and charm is always enjoyable to read and re-read. The comedy is spectacular, the romance is palpable and the characters are vivid and wonderful, please do yourself a favour and read this manga. Jul 05, Ahmed rated it it was amazing.

I read this volume while on the toilet and got to chapter 7 before my legs went numb so I had to get off the toilet and finish the rest of the volume in bed. I watched the anime last year and I loved it. Ritsu is now one of my favourite book girls in the world. Not that I mind it much, however I miss a lot of Ritsu actions. I felt the manga was more about Usa and him surviving a bunch of silly situations than it was about Ritsu.
Usa was brilliant, he is a bit oblivious to things, not always the smartest, but his heart I watched the anime last year and I loved it. I loved how he handled everyone in the house, though he made some mistakes, I think he also made a few new friends for life. I really liked to see him stumble through stuff, trying to flirt with Ritsu and failing oh so hard , trying to talk to her also failing , trying to make her happy also slightly failing.
And he is also learning how to fend for himself. Sure, he is surrounded by people, but in a way he is living independent and taking care of his own stuff for most of the part. Ritsu, I really loved her and how she favoured books over everything else. Always reading, at every place which made for some hilarious situations, like the time she was stuck at a traffic light for several minutes until Usa finally stepped up. She is really great, and while I was hoping she would be a bit more social, I also didn't mind it that much.
Though of course, I do hope she will open up a bit more too people. Maybe put down her book to see the world around her. The art is pretty and I really loved it. Though at times I didn't like how some of the characters were drawn. Sometimes Ritsu looked more boy than girl, and various faces looked a bit smudged.
But still it is good art, and I loved all the details to the house and the world around our characters. I will probably keep on reading this manga, I want to see how Usa and Ritsu's relationship develops. And I also want to see more of Ritsu's stuck to a book stuff.

The various Shirosaki, Kazunari's roommate, is a pervert and masochist; Mayumi Nishikino, a borderline alcoholic office lady, hates couples because of her unfortunate luck with men; and Sayaka Watanabe, a seemingly innocent college student, enjoys leading men on. Shocked with the lack of decent individuals at his new residence, Kazunari is about to leave when he runs into shy senior student Ritsu Kawai and finds himself slowly falling in love with her. But he can be a bit too clever for his own good sometimes, and this was the first time I felt as if the trickery was a bit out of control — the chibi distortion moments were practically at Sora no Otoshimono levels, for starters. Ultimately the success of the series is going to rest on the plot and characters, as usual. And Sayaka pretty much stamps herself as a total bitch in this episode, perfectly happy to let Usa get beat up by her scumbag presumably ex-boyfriend if it keeps her from having to deal with him herself.
Wow I really enjoyed reading it too! It's a simple story that has its own charm which I find really pleasant. It was just SO wholesome during Usa's and Ritsu's interactions. J Adventures. Finding one's purpose in life.
