Fans disliked Claude because apart from being a cheap copy of Sebastian , he lacked all of his charm and tact. The anime, nonetheless ended with a fight between Sebastian and the newly introduced demons of season two. Ciel comes close to death and the only way to save him was turning him into a demon, so Sebastian does so. Yes, Sebastian does love ciel. Because at the end of season one it shows them kissing.
