Rozen maiden ending 3

Traumatized by school, Jun Sakurada spends his days at home as a shut-in, purchasing things online, only to send them back before the free trial period ends. So when a note appears on his desk, asking whether or not he would wind something, he assumes it was something he ordered and carelessly circles "yes," changing his life forever. A box arrives with a wind up doll inside, but this is no ordinary toy: after Jun winds her up, she begins walking and talking as if a normal person. With a haughty attitude, she introduces herself as Shinku, the fifth doll in the Rozen Maiden collection, a group of special dolls made by the legendary dollmaker Rozen. These sisters must battle each other in a competition called the Alice Game with the help of a human to ensure victory.

During the events of the original Rozen Maiden , after circling "yes" on a paper and agreeing to wind an unknown "something," a traumatized Jun Sakurada fights alongside the lifelike dolls known as the Rozen Maidens. But what would have happened if Jun had circled "no"? Jun, having gotten over his school trauma from his younger days, spends his time attending college and working in a bookstore.

However, he does not feel as though he belongs anywhere. One day, he finds a book containing instructions on how to make a Rozen Maiden. Mysteriously, when he arrives home that night, the second volume in the book series has been delivered to his house, along with some pieces of a doll. But as suddenly as they started arriving, the books stop coming, and Jun gets a notice that says that the books have ceased being published. With an incomplete doll in hand, and a message from his other self in another world, this Jun also finds his way into the world of the Rozen Maidens.

Rozen Maiden Ending Theme

Story: Jun is a shut in. After experiencing a large amount of bullying in school, he closes himself off from the world and does nothing all day but order strange things off the internet. Unfortunately for him, a seemingly harmless piece of junk mail lands him in a contract with a living doll named Shinku. Sworn to her, Jun must now supply her with energy for her never ending battles against other Rozen Maiden dolls as they fight for the chance to become the perfect girl: Alice. Violence: Because this show is about a bunch of dolls fighting one another, there is violence.

These dolls are Shinku and Suiseiseki. At the end of the series, Shinku ends up becoming Alice after Kirakishou is unable to absorb the rest of the other Rosa.

And guess what… the first half of the episode was just that. He also gets the girl somewhat! The second half was what I was pleasantly surprised about. The dolls return as well and Shinku is as cute as a button! The connection that she has with Unwound and Wound-Jun is so heartwarming and I love seeing those moments of mutual understanding between the two.

No recent wiki edits to this page. Along with her twin sister, Souseiseki , Suiseiseki tends to the 'soul trees' of humans, and can use her watering can to cause plants to grow.

Alice Game

From the time she appeared on screen, Shinku has been my favorite character, and when she reappeared in episode 4, she just got better. I really enjoyed the attitude, the haughtiness, her bearing, her harsh words that were always intended to push Jun in the direction he should go, and always the obvious care she had for Jun. Among the rest of the dolls, I think Kanaria may be my second favorite, with her sunny personality that was in this show, and Suigintou was ok, and got better, especially as we learned more about Megu. I really did like all of the dolls, none of them ever got overbearing in this show. Even Hinaichigo in her short scenes seemed nice. One thing I keep coming back to also is the scale of the dolls.

While we didn't exclusively cover Lunar , the love of this series and Grandia also from Game Arts was essential to our founding. Since the SegaCD version of Lunar: The Silver Star just celebrated its 30th anniversary on June 26th, , we decided it was the perfect time to dedicate an episode to Noriyuki Iwadare's timeless work on the series. While Lunar is admittedly a small series with only two main games and a pair of spin-offs, the two main games have been remade — multiple times in the case of The Silver Star. Each version brought with it new musical arrangements, so don't let the smallness of the series fool you — there is a lot of wonderful music to experience!

Rozen Maiden: Träumend (TV)

As a story, as part of the series canon, as a character study and as a work of visual and auditory art, this is approaching masterpiece levels. While there is another episode next week, this one in many ways feels like the spiritual finale of the series. Real character development took second place to affectation and caricature, each filling their assigned role in the same way idols each take on a fake personality as part of the identity of a girl group. What a great character Sugintou is in this version of the story — fiercely proud, tough as nails, but ultimately undone by her own compassion for a kindred spirit that chance led her to meet.

When Jun buys a brooch as a present for Shinku, the fifth doll, she refuses to accept it at any cost. Souseiseki, the fourth doll, then recounts the story of how Shinku and the first doll, Suigintou, first met. This tale tells of the cruel and heartbreaking circumstances surrounding Suigintou's birth, and how the many misunderstandings between her and Shinku shaped their longstanding rivalry fueled by Suigintou's unfettered hate towards Shinku.
