Season 1 also introduces the Hashira characters — the highest-ranked Demon Slayers in the corps — who play varying roles through the Mugen Train Arc, as well as the Entertainment District arc that makes up Season 2. You can still watch Demon Slayer Season 2 on Hulu and many other platforms, and the Entertainment District Arc is not one to be missed.

Demon Slayer season 3: Release date speculation, cast, and first Swordsmith Village trailer
The highly anticipated second season of Demon Slayer has only just begun, but a new listing on a Chinese streaming site has some worried about how soon the season will end. This count apparently includes the 7 episodes of the Mugen Train arc, which is mostly made of edited footage from the Demon Slayer movie of the same name. If the listing is accurate, this would mean that the second season of the series will be overall much shorter than the original season's episode run, which has disappointed some fans who have been waiting for almost two years for the show's continuation.
The first episode of Demon Slayer 's second season premiered on Oct. While the first episode was made of entirely new content, the rest of the six episodes in the Mugen Train arc will cover the same material that was shown in the Mugen Train movie, though the producers of the show have revealed that the TV version of the arc will incorporate about 70 newly animated scenes. Following the conclusion of that arc, the all-new Entertainment District arc will begin with an hour-long first episode.
This part of Season 2 will adapt one of the most highly regarded story arcs from Koyoharu Gotouge's original manga. This chapter of the series tells the story of the Sound Hashira, Tengen Uzui, who enlists the help of Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Nezuko while he investigates a series of possible demon-related disappearances within a city's red light district.
New clips from both arcs of Season 2 were recently previewed at Funimation's panel for the franchise at this year's New York Comic-Con. Demon Slayer was first published in Weekly Shonen Jump in and has since become one of the top 10 best-selling manga series of all time, with over million copies in circulation worldwide.
The series' anime adaptation debuted in and was produced by studio Ufotable. The franchise's first movie, Mugen Train , was released in and is currently the highest grossing anime movie of all time, breaking a record that was previously held by Studio Ghibli's Spirited Away for more than a decade.
