Goodbye ‘Regular Show,’ The Only Show That Understands Why Work Sucks

Mordecai and Rigby find a bunch of baby ducks when they are asked to clean the old fountain. Mordecai and Rigby organize a scary movie fund-raiser for the park. They end up raising more than just funds. In this updated version of the pilot episode, Mordecai and Rigby answer a newspaper ad posted by Benson for two groundskeepers. After finding out their new game isn't as awesome as they thought, Mordecai and Rigby fruitlessly try to get their money back.

In retaliation, Mordecai and Rigby sabotage the sale of the game so much they are pulled into the game by the manager and must defeat him to get their freedom and their refund.

Mordecai and Rigby are about to beat "The Hammer" the supposedly unbeatable last boss in their new video game,but the TV breaks. Rigby employs a beaver named Doug to do his work for him, but soon runs into issues. Rigby is haunted by nightmares about a possessed British taxi after watching a cheesy horror film. Mordecai is convinced that desensitising him is the only way to cure it. When Skips kills Rigby, he must defeat Death in an arm wrestle competition to bring Rigby back.

Rigby finds an old tape with one of his former favorite songs on it, only to find that it's not as good as he remembers. Problem is, the song gets lodged in his brain and cannot stop humming or singing it so Mordecai tries various methods to get rid of it.

When Benson takes the night off, Mordecai and Rigby decide to throw a party, but as it gets off on a rocky start, they seek the help of Party Pete to get their party going. But the duo soon learn the hard way that Party Pete is unstoppable when drinking RadiCola.

Mordecai and Rigby injure Pops by wrestling him and in the end, have to take care of him during the night when Pops got them tickets to go to the wrestling championship. Mordecai sees Pops naked and tries to forget about it. Rigby decides to help out by showing him an anime with supernatural powers.

In turn, the anime ends up wiping out all of Mordecai's memories and it's up to Rigby and Skips to get back Mordecai's mind. Rigby got jinxed and has got to find a way to un-jinx himself so he can talk again. Only problem is, he can't tell anybody to say his name three times to un-jinx him. Fed up with being insulted all the time, Rigby decides to boost his intelligence with whatever methods he can find.

Mordecai and Rigby learn the price of being appreciated at work after altering Benson's magic book of records. This was the most unexpected surprise i had so far this year! I had a loose idea of what the show was about but not anything specific and honestly it didn't seem all that interesting.

However when the second season of Rick and Morty ended and Gravity Falls concluded i started looking for something to fill the void. Regular show did more than that. Let me be clear, this is not at all like the shows mentioned above but it really stands out just like them among the Johnny Tests and the Family Guys we seem to be getting. This show has the simplest premise and could have easily failed due to the implications having such a broad base plot to work with and the sizes of the episodes - eleven minutes don't leave much time to develop situations and characters- but thanks to the really smart writing this show just keeps on getting better.

First off the liner plot it has throughout each of the seasons feel like it's always affected by whatever is happening at the time. Even "filler" plays some role at the end and that makes watching this show addicting. Secondly i feel like every person has character in this cartoon, something you cannot say for most.

Lastly i love the music this show uses. It uses real songs without them feeling out of place or forced and originals when it is appropriate without overdoing it. This show is not perfect or the best on air right now but that is only saying something for the other shows that have been airing these years seriously if you haven't go watch Rick and Morty. Regular Show is going strong after 7 seasons and i dont want it to stop.

Through all its crazy and out there ideas, J. I really loved it didnt really love last season's second part but finale was awesome So cool wooooooaaaaohhh. Rather weak when trying to make grand, overarching plots specially in the final season but often brilliant with the smaller, regular-length episodes. Even if the finale isn't up to par, it's overall very enjoyable! Usually these kinds of shows get kind of stale after a few seasons, but Regular Show seems to hold up just fine at season seven.
