I'm also good at creating things, from fanfictions, stand alone stories, character setting, world setting, and stuff. So I'm more than glad if any of you need a hand in creating your own stories. As for my characteristic I'm a person that illuminates people's lives, I guess.
And I'm here in this wikia to illuminate it Let's just end it there. That's enough for me, I guess. Well, I found this topic this afternoon, so I thought that I'll put this as a second objective of this blog, rather than making two separate blog in the span of 1 hour, in which one blog would hog the comments, while the other got drown in hype. We are now in December, and at the end of this month, maybe after Christmas, a new season of anime will start.
Thinking back, since this year's January, what are the animes that you enjoy? What are the animes that you first thought it would be lame, but turns out good? Apparently I'm not a hardworking person enough to check whether another blog has been done for this, so forgive me if I'm doubling someone's hardwork.
My first mention is a Visual Novel adaptation. There are a few strong points in this anime. First, the art is made by the one who made Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate, also the one who gladly drew Liddy, Akinashi Yuu -sensei. Third, this is not a romance anime you expect it would be, but it's a sports anime instead! Yes, Your romance visual novel has been turned into a shonen-like anime, an action-packed, adrenaline-rush anime that would make anyone's heart racing!
The techniques used, in a game that we are very not familiar of called Flying Circus though Strike Witches viewers would probably understand it, or has seen it , are animated very properly. I would also say about the heroines of this anime, but that would definitely takes time and space, and this blog is not made for that.
So, without further ado, the next one! I'm sure there is a light novel of this, but the anime clearly from the beginning shows that the story will be different from the novel. Anyway, the setting is in a world where Phantom can be seen regularly. The nature of Phantom varies, some born from human mind, some born naturally, so it's practically a natural phenomenon that has will on its own. The theme song Naked Dive and Junshin Always are addictive and top notch. And as you can see in the picture, the ending is a dancing ending though not much , so it could remind you of Hare Hare Yukai from Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu, depending on who you are.
Yes, that's the real Gate of Babylon. Though, still, it's not Gilgamesh that has access to it. You can guess the result yourself. Of course, ChouCho makes a return on singing the theme song, Asterism. A rather melancholic song that fits the anime, but it also represent hope. The only non-anime in my list. Yes, this is an OVA. And I dare you to watch this story and not crying. In a post-apocalyptic world, an android wakes up once a year for three days to serve the customers she is assigned at.
Though there is one problem: there are no customers. Then the protagonist comes. Sounds like your normal story? Wait until you reach the ending, where things starts spiraling downhill. Hope gets crushed at the best possible moment, just to ruin with the audiences' heart. Then comes the ten minutes of tears. I haven't crying this bad since I don't remember when.
I never cried this much for myself, even. A very tear jerker for you. By the way, if you wish to repeat your tears, feel free to read the visual novel. I think it's all ages, and available in english. You can auto play it, too, since it's a linear plot.
Yes, yes, I know you guys want Rem. But these two are the real protagonists. Without further ado, I present you the one anime that is said will be the anime of the year! A person named Subaru with a reset button power lives in another world. Even with Reset Button power, it takes him more than twice reset usually to try to overcome his ordeal in many ways.
Once, when they thought they defeat the final boss, it turned out Subaru got possessed by said boss, and he had to die once again. And in one episode, Subaru becomes crazy. It's frustrating to watch some of the episodes, but there are good episodes too, especially the famous episode where Rem confess to Subaru only to get rejected she got a her route anyway in the webnovel thanks to the author , since he is pursuing Emilia's route.
Now, we go away from the plot heavy animes and to light hearted ones. Anyway, all the main characters as in the pictures from left , Hayama Teru, a demonic girl in wearing the skin of an honor student, Odagiri Futaba, a walking black hole that eats too much, yet not gaining any weight, and Nishikawa Yoko, an ex-ojou sama that had her father goes bankrupt, and now she is poor, yet she still act like ojou-sama.
A comedy anime, and if you want a comparison, I'd say Seitokai Yakuindomo is a good comparison. Though, it does not go into SYD's level of jokes, so it's an all ages version where everyone can enjoy watching it. The side characters including Yamaji, the stalker-like ex-butler that worries too much about Yoko, the babyface maid patisserie Sonobe, the airhead elder sister of the Hayama sisters, Kou, Teru's rival Nishiyama, and her straightforward friend Kondo. The comedic counterpart to Re:Zero, I think, since they start air at the same time.
Anyway, this protagonist, Kazuma, died, and is going to send to another realm. The goddess that send him spend five minutes insulting on how he died he died out of shock instead of saving people like he thought he did , irritating him, so when he is asked to bring one thing heavenly weapon out of the things there, he choose the goddess named Aqua out of spite, to her horror.
The other deities apparently agrees probably for joke , and the goddess is stuck to the protagonist with no way of return except defeating the demon lord. Then, this mash up party goes on quests with hilarious results, including needs to pay the damage they made to the down in defeating a demon general despite getting reward, but not enough to pay for the damages.
Kazuma is apparently foolish enough to die many times with no chance of reset button. Thankfully, the goddess Aqua that he brought with him can cast Revive, and can threaten the goddess that now takes her job named Eris, pictured to revive Kazuma as much as she wants to.
Imagine that you're fighting for the world's safety, and then you found out that the enemy you're fighting this whole time is actually your own race, and the ones you sided with all this time is your real enemy. That's practically what is this story about. We have Ichiya Suzaku, a hot-headed, a little bit chuunibyou type of main protagonist that has the power to control gravity, accompanied by her long crush and osananajimi Canaria with the power of boosting a whole troop with her singing.
The second pair is Kasumi Chigusa, an overprotective brother that can hear everything in his range, and his brocon and lazy imouto Asuha, who can shoot flames and ice, so The third pair is Tenkawa Maihime, a carefree girl with high destructive power, though she just doesn't show her sorrow on her face, accompanied by her osananajimi Rindo Hotaru, a stereotypical type of samurai, from her loyalty to Maihime to her sense of duty.
A very famous line for you Ace Attorney fans. This is a must watch for the fans, and it's not disappointing. I don't know if I should even say anything here.
Anyway, I'm looking forward if they want to make Rise from the Ashes they could make it OVA or even a second season, but we'll have to see. This anime is as exactly written on the title. A witch named Makoto comes to her cousin's home to finish her witch training. Each episode is about her daily life. It has no plot whatsoever, each episode stands alone. It's not Majimoji Rurumo, it doesn't have fanservice. They let the characters act as they should without many excessive antics, which is a good thing.
Even the cats are animated as they should! Like Sansha Sanyou, this anime also can be watched anytime and anywhere, and it's pretty good to prevent you from getting bored due to the slow pace of the story.

An anime stew is any project that takes a bunch of ingredients we've seen dozens of times before, familiar themes and ideas and characters, then tosses them all together without much care or thought. None of this is to say an anime stew is necessarily a bad thing, just that it has to rise above the limitations created by its derivative aspects.
