The club room of the defunct Tea Ceremony Club has been taken over by a 4-person group calling themselves "The Amusement Club". A full-bodied comedy, overflowing with love, it's guaranteed to give you the energy to live healthily and heartily for tom. Four mischievous girls illegally occupy the former Traditional Tea Ceremony clubroom, in order to create the "Amusement Club. A chance meeting blossomed to love between two girls. But it's quite a peculiar couple: Sayuri is ordinary in every way, while her love interest, Yoriko, is a refined lady who seems to be completely lacking in common sense.

YuruYuri is a Japanese anime series based on the comedy manga series by Namori, which is published in Comic Yuri Hime. The series follows the everyday lives of Akari, Kyoko, Yui and Chinatsu who make up the Amusement Club at their school. It was followed by two specials, titled YuruYuri Nachuyachumi! A third season titled YuruYuri San Hai! The new OVA was crowdfunded and completed its goal in February For the second season, the opening theme is "Yes!

Later, the girls spend New Year's at home where they check their greetings cards from each other.
August 23, [14]. On April's Fools Day, Chitose decides to play a lying game with Ayano, who later discovers that all of her supposed lies were actually true. August 30, [14]. The girls try to find way to distract themselves from the Summer heat. While visiting the student council room for some cooling comfort, they meet the silent student council president, Rise Matsumoto, who they initially mistake for a spirit. Meanwhile, the science teacher, Nana Nishigaki, decides to do her experiments in the student council room.
September 6, [14]. September 13, [15]. September 20, [15]. After everyone has some barrel baths, Chitose goes on a kissing rampage as a result of eating chocolate. As the girls travel to a hot spring inn, Akari dreams of being the popular and well admired main protagonist that she always desired to be.
Once at the inn, the girls play some ping pong and discover something about Chinatsu's hair. After that, they relax in the baths before watching a Mirakurun movie. July 9, Later, the gang try and come up with nicknames for each other. Meanwhile, Sakurako attempts to catch a snake that is loose in the Student Council room.
July 16, Akari, Chinatsu, Sakurako and Himawari try to think of ways to pass time in class. Later, Himawari agrees to help teach Chinatsu to knit a scarf, which leaves Sakurako feeling lonely without her. As Valentine's Day comes and the girls give each other chocolates, Himawari gives Sakurako some Valentine gifts. July 23, After Ayano becomes bothered by allergies during a high pollen season, the student council clean up their room, with Ayano having trouble keeping her special pudding away from Sakurako.
Later, Nana ends up making various zany inventions when the student council just want their clock fixed. Meanwhile, the Amusement Club try to find ways to pass the time while waiting for the rain to pass. July 30, As she decides to have everyone go to the pool instead, Akari misses her train and tries to pass the time til the next one comes.
August 6, After selling out their stock, the girls go around in cosplay, where Chinatsu once again ruins the image of Mirakurun for young children. August 13, Sakurako gets pushed around a bit by her sisters Nadeshiko and Hanako while Himawari's little sister Kaede is a bit too inquisitive.
Meanwhile, Chizuru decides to clean up Chitose's room while she is out, but has to take extreme measures to stop picturing her and Ayano together and drooling all over the place. Later, Himawari worries that she's gained weight and comes to Sakurako for some exercise advice.
Elsewhere, Chinatsu talks with her older sister, Tomoko, who has a crush on Akari's older sister, Akane, who, at that moment, is doing perverted things with Akari's belongings while she is away. August 20, Later around Christmas time, everyone goes to a karaoke place, where Chinatsu fails to get a duet with Yui.
As a consolation, Yui takes Chinatsu to the movies, where Chinatsu's plan to cling onto Yui during a scary movie causes Yui even greater scares. August 27, As the first years try to study for their exams, Sakurako has a hard time keeping focused. Later, Chinatsu ends up inadvertently hiding from the others and can't find a good opportunity to reemerge.
During a sleepover at Akari's house, Chinatsu has trouble sleeping after watching a scary movie. Later, each of the first years end up encountering one of their seniors, resulting in some curious conversations. September 3, Meanwhile, Akari tries to cheer up Chinatsu as she becomes depressed over missing Yui and winds up in another dangerous situation.
Later, as Himawari visits Sakurako's house, Nadeshiko recalls how the two used to be much closer in their childhood. September 10, While clearing out the closet, the Amusement Club finds a time machine which accidentally sends Akari back to the day before she started middle school. Stuck in the past until she can figure out how to fix the time machine, Akari decides to try and rectify the mistakes her past self made so she'll have a bigger presence.
She ends up being spotted by Akane, who remains supportive of her. After failing her attempts to rectify her embarrassing middle school debut, Akari goes to Nana to ask for help in fixing the time machine. As Akari spends the next week hiding out in Akane's room, Akane warns her that changing her past might replace her old memories.
As Nana manages to fix the time machine, Akari spots one more opportunity to save the presence by delaying Ayano from interrupting her, but stops when she thinks about losing her old memories.
As Akari returns to the present, she finds everyone has been worried about her since she had disappeared for a week. September 17,
First Impression: Yuru Yuri San Hai!
I think the story went back in time, during the field trip of the senpais. If you guys remember, episode 10 of Yuru Yuri season 1, Kyouko, Yui, Ayano and Chitose joined the field trip for the 2nd years. In season 2, in the current story and timeline, Kyouko and the other 3 are in their 3rd year of middle school while Akari and her classmates are 2nd years. Ok, enough of that. Who cares about the time? So their senpais are having a trip to Kyoto for a few days, that leaves the juniors by themselves. The episode was full of Akari x Chinatsu and Sakurako x Himawari.
How to adapt the Yuru Yuri manga
Welcome readers one and all! It was based on a manga by Namori. Today, I just want to rant about some things I love about Yuru Yuri. She can even make herself disappear except for a dotted outline, lol! In addition, Akari at times warms my heart or wins my sympathy. Really, she is such a good girl and a sweetheart. One of the funniest moments in Yuru Yuri involving Akari is when she got aggressively kissed by Chinatsu.

And because random lotteries in anime are always indisputably random, Ayano is unable to get Kyoko and gets Yui, Chinatsu is unable to get Yui and gets Kyoko, and Himawari manages to get Sakurako of course, rounding it off, Chitose gets Akari. Akari and Chitose have a nice chat at a coffee shop. Kyoko takes Chinatsu on sort of a proper date movie, arcade, etc. Sakurako and Himawari eat at a family restaurant together much to their dismay. Finally, Yui and Ayano end up sitting awkwardly on a park bench until they talk about their relationships with Chitose and Kyoko and bond a bit.

Each character has her own personality and her own unique traits, which helps enhances the series as it goes on. Yuru Yuri generally does not have a story, it only shows us episodes of lesbian yuri girls who are not fully aware of their sexual affiliation, which is the core of the comedy aspect in this, almost, rom-com. The clumsy, ignored, and plain Akari. Her lack of presence is the cause of her distress. The selfish, easygoing, and perverted Kyoko. Her gluttony and laziness are her most shinning traits.

For those of you that knows me, you know I'm a huge Yuru Yuri fan, and for those that doesn't, now you know. Yuru Yuri is a show about a bunch of middle school girls just having fun and doing cute things. There's no "plot" no PLOT either either, which can makes this anime boring for others, but it is just one of those relaxing animes that puts a smile on people's faces :. First year middle school All girls student Akaza Akari joined the Amusement club founded by her childhood friend senpais, Toshinou Kyouko and Funami Yui. Shortly after, one of Akari's classmate, Yoshikawa Chinatsu joined and together the 4 girls experiences all sorts of crazy things with their other friends mainly the student council and home situations. This all happens while the supposed main character, Akari disappears from the spotlight little by little every episode.

This is supposed to be a fun post! Most fans will agree that this is the pairing which must be canon. All of that violent sexual tension is only made more juicy by the fact that both girls really do care for the other in their own awkward ways.

6 Anime Like Yuru Yuri [Recommendations]
It feels like with this third season, a lot of that luster seems to gone since TYO Animation is taking the reins this time in production instead of Doga Kobo. Not quite sure how I really feel about this. The story of Yuru Yuri still maintains the same general plotline, featuring out four main girls: Kyouko, Yui, Akari, and Chinatsu spending time in their signature clubhouse as the Amusement Club, spending more time together with all of the other characters in the series and generally creating a lot of wackiness and moments that make the show so memorable and great. That however is not the case this time around. As a result of the production company change, this season feels a lot more disjointed and watered down from the original. Not to mention some characters feel different than they were previously in previous seasons.
