21 PBS Kids Shows From the '90s We Desperately Wish Would Make a Comeback

I love dinosaurs. I Love dinosaurs with a capital L. These mighty and fearsome creatures have been an integral part of my life since childhood when I started to devour anything I could find that had to do with Dinosaurs. As a kid, I would read every book and comic, and watch every movie and animated adventure that aired with these awe-inspiring animals. The Terrible Thunderlizards is arguably the funniest show in the category of animated entertainment featuring dinosaurs.

The '90s were truly a golden age for animated films. Disney ruled the box office with an iron fist, leading to a veritable avalanche of animated movies, created in hopes of usurping Disney from the throne. Many of these shows aired in the late 90's to mid 's, and while some had relative popularity and cult followings, I consider these picks to be more obscure but definitely worthy of watching as they are comedic gems. Disclaimer: As these all aired on television at one point, I did not set the Mature tag; at worst, they were targeted to a teenage audience. Stressed Eric Recently divorced and constantly stressed, Eric Feeble has a difficult time balancing his miserable existence between his dead-end job and dysfunctional family life managing his two high-maintenance children and an alcoholic live-in housekeeper. The original is British, but there's apparently one season that was re-dubbed and aired in North America. Rex the Runt Rex, Wendy, Bad Bob and Vince get into all sorts of trouble and mischief, usually because they need money to pay the gas bill.

I've been on this Amino for a while now, and it's probably one of the greatest social media platforms ever in my There's so many people on here. With that being said, I don't particularly know what kids are into these days. I mean I'm 18 years old, so of course I tend to want to socialize with people around my age or slightly older, but occasionally I'll pop in on public chatrooms where there's usually both kids and adults and see what's up. While this doesn't apply to all kids, I'm beginning to notice that more and more younger people usually like 14 and under don't really have the same perspective of animation I did when I was their age. And while I think that's completely fine, I'm not an old man who's living in the past, and I am in no way, in any shape or form, criticizing KIDS who don't agree with me it is very interesting. I've met younger generations who absolutely hate comedy shows like the older episodes of SpongeBob, Rocko's Modern Life, The Simpsons, etc.
