And it doubly sucks when the show is cancelled before its time. When it first came, it was I was 14 years old and at the time, had backed away from my love of cartoons due to bullying in middle school. But, as an adult, and having become more comfortable with my interests, I heard the one-season show was actually really good.
But it was on Netflix, so with all my admiration for Genndy Tartakovsky, I decided to give it a go. I watched the entire thing in about three days…which aside from showing how much I enjoyed also clearly displays my inherent lack of self-control.
While, the character designs can be jarring and hideous at times; everything else makes up for it. Sym-Bionic Titan follows three refugees — Princess Ilana, soldier Lance and AI-robot Octus — who escape to Earth from their home planet of Galaluna after the evil General Modula wages war on the planet with the help of Mutraddi beasts.
While posing as high school students, the three must also defend Earth from the beasts sent to kill Ilana, the only heir to the Galalunan throne-with mecha armor. Many episodes have the characters dealing with some kind of issue at school or Earth life as well as having to fight whatever monster gets sent over. I think it forces people to be more creative. But, I have to say the fight scenes were pretty good. Two of these episodes are flashback episodes.
The other episodes that caught my eye are the ones where the trio is interacting with Solomon, the mysterious leader of an organization called G3. But what really defines this show and sets it apart from many of the other is how the show handles romance. She makes him kinder and he gives her hope. During the school day, he maintains the identity of Newton, a large, stout, nerdy looking boy. And somehow, this Regina George-knock off becomes such a fascinating character when she falls in love with him.
And later in the series, Octus finds himself kind of falling in love with her too. The development of this relationship is so genuine, I really wish we got more of it. Who is the man with the gauntlet? Why does G3 have Galalulan tech? Is Solomon a friend or foe?
What is Octus? Why does Modula want power? Why can only the trio form Titan? How will Kimmy react when she learns the truth about Octus? I need to know! I need to see it played out…. I really hope that some other network -possibly Netflix, but at this time it seems Cartoon Network is aligning itself with HBO -could bring it back. And that would definitely allow the creators to push the boundaries and do with the show as they wish.

Hello fans, long time no see! Check it out if you guys want to see more Team Teen! First off I want to apologize for the long absence. Honestly the fact I was even able to finish Act 1 was a miracle in it of itself! In the meantime, enjoy some art I just shared! I want to make sure everyone knows there is plenty more to come!

Russian-born kids' TV animator Genndy Tartakovsky has hit box-office gold with his first feature about a hotel for monsters run by Adam Sandler's Dracula. An even smaller subset of great talents manage to survive, unmolested by the dictates of house style, within the bigger animation studios. Genndy Tartakovsky is the exception that proves the rule. His style — a dazzling mash-up of thick-line anime, Russian Futurism, and American psychedelia — is wildly varied, instantly recognisable and likely on a TV near you. I think a studio is much more likely to go with a young creator now than they were 20 years ago. Tartakovsky has only vague recollections of his first cartoon show in the USSR. Anxious that the children avoid anti-Semitic sentiments, his mother Miriam, a teacher, and his father Boris — a dentist to government officials and the Russian hockey team — moved the family to Italy, then Chicago, when Genndy was seven. So when we got to America, my dad bought a TV set and I turned it on.

Sym-Bionic Titan Deserves a Second Chance
Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal is one of the truly marvelous TV success stories of the past few years. A basically wordless epic about a caveman and a dinosaur barely surviving in an ultraviolent prehistoric world, the series built a dedicated following after its premiere and scored a raft of Emmy awards. It was an eerie tease about new adventures on the horizon — and now Entertainment Weekly is excited to officially announce that season 2 of Primal will premiere July The episode season will continue airing a new episode weekly from there, until the season finale on September EW is also excited to officially share the trailer for season 2. Suffice it to say, the giant shark is very freaky, and it's only the fifth- or sixth-most freaky thing in the preview.

This is part of a collection of fanfic ideas I'm uploading, if you're interested, stayed tuned. As the title of the concept says, a team of heroes coming together; in this case, young heroes. They'd be pseudo leaders or mentors to the newer members, and who would be the newer members? And when I mean older, I mean more experienced in fighting with a team, not necessarily age wise, as they'll mostly be around similar ages but some will be new to the whole working with different people. There could also be a reserve team in case something happens to the main team. I'll explain why in a bit.
