I was in complete amazement as I watched episode 10 and realised what was really going on. They meet him several times due to Yuuki constantly following him every time he spots him. However, as exciting as learning about what the robots do, and making a new friend who makes you think twice about how you feel and treat your family; a problem occurs as Yuuki starts to stumble and get headaches, as well of refusing to eat and vomiting. Yuuki has no more energy and it warn out. With his fever or whatever happening, he had reached the point where he has collasped and fallen unconscious.

This episode picks up with Yuuki and Mirai riding towards their home in the army truck when Yuuki asks Mirai what she would do if he was dead? Mirai tells Yuuki not to say strange things and that mother, father, and she would probably cry themselves to death. After Mirai finds that her mother went home to get some clothing, she goes looking for Yuuki who has headed inside the elementary school classroom areas. At various times, Yuuki appears to Mirai telling her not to cry, but vanishes as soon as Itsuki appears. As Mirai tries to call him back outside, she also sees Yuuki enter the house, so Mirai has to follow them in. When Itsuki hands Mirai the book, an aftershock strikes the area and she grabs Itsuki to protect him from the falling debris. Mirai then notices Yuuki in the hallway, so she drags Itsuki over to Yuuki and cover them both up.
To start off, I figured I'd do Tokyo Magnitude 8. The first time I watched this anime, I honestly got kinda bored. To me, the episodes dragged on a little too much, and it just seemed like more and more of the same. It wasn't until episode 8 when I started to really get into the show, and let me just say, I couldn't get past the last episode in a single sitting.
