I am a huge fan of the television series, and own many of the dvd's, this movie sums up a long story arc of the series in just an hour and a half. I thought that the movie was good, but since I have seen the whole story arc that this sums up I feel like it is missing a lot. However, I think that it is a good way to get into the television show. If nothing else it is a good standalone movie. Fans of the anime typically do not care to much for these types of movies, but not all. Some fans like myself, just love the characters so much that any chance I get to watch some more content of them I will. Without spoiling too much, I want to say that the animation in this movie is excellent.
