And Warner Bros are now expanding into this market as well and have announced the creation of a new short-form digital content production unit, dubbed Blue Ribbon Content, as well as a full roster of live-action and animated series covering multiple genres including sci-fi, action, horror and comedy; with some serious talent behind them too. Those are really some interesting-looking shows. How do you feel about short form shows like this?

Batman: The Animated Series: Season 3
Just a week after Warner Bros. Digital and Interactive divisions co-produced the critically praised, live-action Mortal Kombat: Legacy digital series, and the new series will likely serve as a tie-in for the April release of the Mortal Kombat X game. Blue Ribbon is also working on a live-action series based on Static Shock, the DC Comics superhero who had his own comic book pictured above and four-season animated series that debuted in Also included in the slate of projects is a live-action series based on the Critters sci-fi horror franchise.

Not sure if the stories and the series are getting tired, but the first entry this week has to be one of the worst episodes of the series. It seems Brown is disgruntled, and had his plans for oversized livestock ruined, and now is planning on taking his revenge on the city of Gotham. He releases all manner of creatures on the city, including a swarm of giant-sized praying mantis, giant cows, and strange flying animals. This one ends up being bizarre without actually being very good. Did Brown not have anyone in his business or government who would tell him no I mean besides the judge at the beginning of the ep? Batman zips around town using his new jet-pack glider while Batgirl and Robin use the Batmobile, as the Boy Wonder makes every suitable animal joke he can. Cult of the Cat, happily, ends up being a stronger story. Airing on 18 September, this one sees Catwoman Adrienne Barbeau pursued by a fanatical cult.
