Best Underrated Anime 2018 (Winter/Spring)
The s decade has ended recently. I was inspired to write this after Crunchyroll had made their list of their Top anime, so why not I give it a shot? What I will include are anime I have completed, including short anime, movies, and maybe a music video. Adventurer guy adopts orphan demon girl. He loves her, and she loves him. The anime is extremely cute. Drunk white collar worker finds dragon girl and live together.
Imagine Love Live, but set in a professional idol agency with more idols. Anzu Futaba is my favorite of the I get overly nostalgic for this anime about an adorable chuunibyou hikikomori girl with gorgeous, very long light blue hair. I especially love the art style. The last good anime with lots of references to other anime. Zombie boy forms a harem with some girls with supernatural properties. Story and characters are really good.
Lucky Star spinoff that teaches the importance of budgeting. Two anime girls live in poverty. One of the girls constantly buys manga. Witch girl is summoned by perverted guy and forms a close bond.
Also my first anime, so this anime is very special to me. Cute girls play airsoft, which is like nerf guns. The comedy goes up to absurd levels, and the narrator only adds to the absurdity! Cute girls operate warships. Archetype cafe. The other anime that saved me was Shugo Chara!! Cute girl teases boy in this beloved comedy slice-of-life anime.
Also my middle favorite anime. One of the highest rated harem anime according to MyAnimeList. There are magical hijinks to be found, and the ending was incredible! My final thoughts article on this anime gets a lot of traffic. Even more harem anime! And the harem anime keeps coming! The only Shogi anime from this decade that I watched.

I can go on and on about why I love Himouto! I love how this anime is like Love Live! Instead of idols, Hanayamata is about a Japanese folk dance called Yosakoi. The awesome Initial D series has been running into the s with Fifth Stage and improved graphics.
In , Initial D crosses the finish line with style and an intense race. This idol anime that dominated anime culture starts slow, but it picks up the pace later on. Singing and dancing in front of a huge audience is no easy feat. The movie contains the best moments of the Love Live series. Even if it needs to be twice as long, it still is one of the greatest visual novel anime adaptations ever. And those are 80 of my top favorite anime of the s! Based on my preferences in anime and the anime I decided to watch, my top contains a handful of anime that are not in a lot of best s anime lists.

The most underrated anime of 2018
We have arrived in summer, but before we move on to the hot air and cooling water, we first need to give our acknowledgments and awards to the best anime series aired during the spring season. Spring was labeled as the season of legends as many great shows and sequels were aired at the same time and it was hard not to take note of all the shows. To note, we will only be taking into consideration series that have already aired their last episode and does not include series that are midway through their airtime. So in descending order, here are my Best Anime of Spring ! During the early days of the show, it was prophesied that Trigger will save anime once again but alas, that did not happen. Whether it was because they did not have more control over the series or for other reasons, they were unable to mark their stamp on it. The first half of the series showed real promise and quality as the story was top notch and it was supposed to hit the next gear but that sadly did not happen.

To be fair, the premise sounds like it could be decent: a reactor explosion has ruined the environment and several years later new organisms that are both organic and mechanical threaten humanity. Probably the biggest shock is that the expected romance does not happen, which I mention because on the surface this looks like a romance series, but it ends up being more about dealing with the loss and learning to move on. Against conventional storytelling, Futaba is not the magical girl that he suddenly can speak to either.
