Ducktales the movie elephant

Post a Comment. DuckTales: The Movie is a fun sit. I wouldn't call it the most meaty story ever, but it does contain some fun adventure set pieces and as far as an adaptation to a show like DuckTales goes, it definitely feels like it would fit in just fine as a series of episodes. The main cast, as usual are fun to watch in the film, especially Mrs.

DuckTales: The Movie - Treasure Of The Lost Lamp (1990)

Deviation Actions. Add to Favourites. By SithVampireMaster Published: Apr 7, I love DuckTales. And sadly, Alan Young, the voice of Scrooge McDuck passed away last year among many other amazing people. So, in honor of the upcoming DuckTales series and in memory Mr. DuckTales the Movie came out in Once they land, Uncle Scrooge and company are greeted by the diggers, led by Dijon. They open the chest and find a bunch of old clothes in it.

Uncle Scrooge is disappointed, because he was expecting treasure, but suddenly Louie finds a map in one of the clothes. Merlock sends Dijon to get the map from Uncle Scrooge. Huey, Dewey and Louie run there and discover that the rock is the top of a pyramid, so they dig it out of the sand. They discover that the Pyramid is much bigger than it looks and when they finish digging, they enter the Pyramid with Merlock watching them.

They also send Dijon to look out for booby traps. They go further in the Pyramid until they find the treasure of Collie Baba. Then Uncle Scrooge sends Dijon to get some sacks.

When Dijon gets back, he and the others put all the treasure into a bag and when Dijon leaves with this bag, suddenly Merlock appears and takes the bag containing the treasure. Merlock burns the rope bridge and then pulls a lever with lowers the altar to a pit of giant scorpions below, then leaves with Dijon and the treasure. Uncle Scrooge and the others decide to make their escape in the giant empty basket, where the treasure was kept.

They manage to get away from the Giant Scorpions and then they float down the river in the basket. Dijon tells Merlock that Uncle Scrooge and the kids have it, so the wizard turns into an eagle to get the Lamp. But Webby comforts him, saying that they still have the Lamp.

Later Merlock finds out that Uncle Scrooge and the others got away with the Lamp so he along with Dijon decides to go after it. Back at Duckburg, Mrs. The Genie meets the Kids and thanks them for releasing him from the Lamp. Then he looks around the mansion, like checking out things in the kitchen and reading books in the library, so he can catch up on the 20th Century.

Then the Kids ask Genie to grant them wishes. Webby makes the first wish: she wishes for a baby elephant. Suddenly Mrs. Beakley enters and notices the Elephant, so she screams and runs away. Then the Kids notice Uncle Scrooge coming home so they decide to hide the Elephant: Huey wishes it away.

But he does see the chair moving out of the library, so he becomes suspicious. The Kids hide Genie in their room, and just in time, because Uncle Scrooge storms in. Uncle Scrooge confronts the kids and Genie comes out of the closet disguised as a normal kid and the Kids call him Gene.

Uncle Scrooge agrees to let Genie stay. We then see the kids playing outside with new toys that the kids wished for from Genie, but they stay outside after sundown. Then Genie tells the Kids about how he once belonged to Merlock and how he made him do terrible deeds like sinking Atlantis and destroying Pompeii. Genie says that he granted Merlock eternal life and he has unlimited wishes because of his magic talisman, and if Merlock puts this talisman on the lamp he will have unlimited power and will be able to have as many wishes as he wants.

Since Dijon is too cowardly to go in there, Merlock goes in the house by himself, by turning himself into a rat. Merlock sees this in rat form, but Mrs. Beakley notices him and starts hitting him with her broom. Webby wishes for all her toys to come alive and Genie grants it, and then all Hell breaks loose: the toys come to life and they start wreaking havoc in the house. Beakley, Huey, Dewey and Louie and even Uncle Scrooge notice this too, and they try to stop the living toys, but there are too many of them.

All this chaos keeps going on until Louie wishes for the toys to become inanimate again. They say that Genie came from the Lamp and this makes Uncle Scrooge happy and decides to go to the Archeologist Ball after all. But Dijon sneaks in and tries to take the treasure, when suddenly Merlock reverts back to his normal form. Merlock goes after Scrooge and he takes Dijon with him. We then see the Archeologist Ball, where Genie is overexcited, but Uncle Scrooge tells him to be quiet.

Merlock arrives and sneaks into the Club through the front door, while Dijon sneaks inside through the backdoor. Uncle Scrooge is about to give a speech about his discovery, but Genie grabs him and the two start running from Merlock. Genie tries to hide in a room then inside the lamp, but Merlock and Dijon keep looking for them. When they get out of the Lamp, Genie tells Uncle Scrooge that all he wants is a life of his own.

This makes Scrooge sympathize with Genie. Dijon rubs the Lamp and wishes that he was the richest man on Earth. And because of this, the McDuck family becomes poor.

Scrooge finds out about this when he arrives at the vault, but finds Dijon sitting there and he has the old Duck arrested. Beakley and Duckworth bail him out, but Mrs. Beakley breaks the news to him that not only did Dijon take the Vault but also the Mansion. But Uncle Scrooge suddenly gets an idea: he remembers the alarms to the Vault and he knows the ways to get past them, so he and Kids go to the Vault to get the Lamp and rescue Genie.

First the Kids type in the password and then they enter the Vault. Merlock secretly follows them in cockroach form. Then they find a corridor guarded with lasers and Louie tries to get through, but he gets hit by the lasers. Then the Kids deactivate the lasers by shooting marbles at the control panel, then they tell Uncle Scrooge that its safe to enter.

Merlock puts his Magic Talisman on the Lamp and tells Genie to do his bidding. First he turns Dijon into a pig. Then Merlock wishes that the Vault turned into a Fortress, and Genie grants this wish too. Genie feels remorseful and then Merlock wishes himself home in the Fortress. Genie grants this wish too and then the Fortress starts flying into the air. Scrooge starts yelling at Merlock, which angers the Wizard and he tells Genie to get rid of Scrooge. They throw it to Uncle Scrooge, but both him and the Lamp fall off.

Merlock then turns into a Griffin and flies down to get the Lamp. Scrooge gets the Lamp and makes one last wish: he wishes everything back to normal and Genie grants it. Scrooge wishes for Genie to turn into a normal kid and it happens: Genie indeed turns into a kid and the Lamp crumbles to Dust. The Kids run out of the Vault to have fun with Genie and then Scrooge notices Dijon stealing some of his money, so he chases after him and then the ending credits start rolling. What do I think of it?

Christopher Lloyd does a great job voicing him. See you next time on SithVamp Reviews! May you rest in peace, Alan Young. Why such a bizarre choice for a film? The film does not exactly take itself very seriously, and falls into the category of cheesy family films you remember watching once and that was it. Oh no, there's been an error

Newman's writing overflows with melodic invention, beginning with a bold adventure theme and a hard-charging action motif with several allusions to the TV theme in the opening sequence. Newman created music that twists and turns on a dime, racing forward and stopping suddenly for quick pauses, then continuing onward. The score is a product of the '80s and '90s, bringing a thematic richness and splendor that, as even the composer noted in the album's liner notes, couldn't be done today. For its premiere release, Intrada edited and mastered from the digital 2-track scoring session masters with three cues sourced from the 30 IPS Dolby SR-format analog stereo mixes. So Huey grabs the lamp and rubs it proclaiming that he wishes Webby never made that stupid wish and the elephant is gone and all the damage is reversed as if.

DuckTales 2017 Season 2

How can you be offended by someone stating that there are no arabs in this movie, just animals, when it is in fact true? That's plain dumb. Agreed, just because you saw him as Arab doesn't mean he was. Racists :. Anyone who fails to see the blatant racism in this movie is either very, very young or incredibly dense. As a kid I used to love this movie, and I recently threw in an old VHS copy -- for nostalgic purposes -- and was amazed at the overt stereotyping and racism displayed. Just animals? Give me a break!
