Since fossil fuels have become too depleted to be sources of energy, these three superpowers have jointly constructed a massive solar array ring around the Earth, connected by three equally-gigantic equatorial Orbital Elevators Union's in South America, HRL's in the Pacific Ocean, AEU's in Africa. Despite this cooperation and mutual reliance, they still engage each other in military actions and power plays, all part of a calculated zero sum game; war is still very much a reality.
Enter Celestial Being — a shadowy private military organization with the goal of eradicating war completely and permanently. While past Gundam games have been hit or miss, Gundam Evolution's network test reveals a hero shooter that can compete with the best of the genre. If the vibe of 90s anime could be duplicated, there would be some welcome reboots or additions to beloved series. Most fans watch mecha anime for robot fights, but many series dig deeper than the action, and some have gone unnoticed by modern audiences. While it can be difficult to point out classics too far ahead of their time, some mecha anime just demand their respect as modern classics. Rather than focusing on so many newer series, the industry would be better off doing sequels to some popular mecha anime series from the past.
