Starring in the game is Iroha Tamaki voiced by Momo Asakura , a magical girl who is searching for her missing sister Ui in Kamihama, a place where magical girls gather after being drawn to it by a strange power.

Iroha is a solid healer with the unique ability to resurrect fallen teammates with her magia. Because of this, she can be quite useful in a long battle, especially Accomplish type events where having your teammates survive is very important. Since she is the very first unit you receive and her slots are all obtained by playing through story, she is the one of the easiest early-game units to make into a strong one. Pair her with Madoka for a strong party of healers and the MP generation needed to reliably use her Magia. Because of this, she cannot be relied on to deal significant damage to the enemy team.

The series has received movie, manga, game, and novel adaptations, and it will soon get a brand new smartphone game! The upcoming smartphone game Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story: Magia Record will feature brand new characters along with the magical girls from the anime that we know and love. I really like Mami, but I was still shocked when she died, even though I already knew it was going to happen. I was 17 or 18 at the time. When I was offered the role for this, at first I thought that Female Student B was going to appear in it. I watched the series with my dad when it was airing. That had an impact on me.

Madoka is famous for its shocking twists that allow creative freedom to anticipate what could happen next. Six episodes in, Magia Record is showing just as much potential for complex fan theories, and the internet is buzzing with speculations on the fate of protagonist Iroha Tamaki and the girls she meets along her journey.
Before I get into the review, I should explain why this is Episode 9 and not Episode 1. You may be familiar with how Attack on Titan is going to have 3 parts to its Final Season by the time the series finishes. Well, Magia Record is pretty much doing the opposite. Put those together, and you get the 12 episodes in a standard cour of anime. So, it would actually be more correct to call this Magia Record Season 2 Part 2, hence this being Episode 9. The season and episode number aside, this episode takes us back to what started the series.
The world of Puella Magi Madoka Magica is a twisty-turny one full of time loops, entropy, and weird fibbing aliens. Currently on Japanese servers, there are more than 80 magical girls you can access including different outfits and seasonal variants to build your own killer team to fight off monsters. Fight the monsters known as Witches long enough, let your Soul Gem become cloudy, and you yourself become a Witch to be fought by the next girls in line. Madoka threw a massive wrench in the works in the anime series, but there are dozens of potential timelines out there — of which this is at least one. Apparently this is something that can only be done in Kamihama City, and it makes for some explosive finishing moves. Art duo Gekidan INU Curry, whose surreal stop-motion artistry was used to render the Witches and their battlefields in the original Madoka Magica, return for the Doppel designs. The new art blends each magical girl with her Witch form, with the power balance between girl and Witch varying from person to person.
Desperate to see Ui smile again, Iroha had made a contract with Kyubey that miraculously restored Ui to health, but in exchange, Iroha became more scarce as her time was increasingly directed towards fighting Witches. However, within moments of making this wish, Ui takes on more impurities than she can handle and begins transforming into a Witch herself. Momoko and Mifuyu end up transferring the negative energy onto themselves in order to save the other Magical Girls; while they are successful, they perish from the effort.
