Joe 3 just seems too far away, it might be worth paying some attention to Max Steel , an upcoming big screen reboot of the toy line and animated series of the same name. The first movie stills from Max Steel were recently unveiled, showing off some pretty slick visuals and leaving us very interested to see more. An official synopsis for Max Steel has now been released, confirming that it will feature the new version of the Max Steel origin story from the recently reimagined animated series as opposed to the original series , in which teenager Max MacGrath suffers from uncontrollable flare-ups of energy that can only be managed when he joins forces with an alien robot called Steel and harnesses the power using a highly advanced suit. Director Stewart Hendler is no stranger to the sci-fi genre, having previously directed an episode of the video game tie-in series Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn.

What had you done before Max Steel? I started in horror movies a ways back. The first movie I did was a little picture called Whisper , which nobody saw, starring Josh Holloway from Lost. Then I did something called Sorority Row a few years back. I found myself pigeon-holed into the horror niche and so the last few years I tried to go back to the drawing board and took a left turn into web series and got to pick my material a little more. I was proud of that. Then I did another web series for Halo , a minute live-action origins story for some of the characters in he game.
