Member since: Jul I don't think we have reached the point animation wise in my opinion, where these shorts take a nose dive. In fact most of these hold up quite good. That short is right up there with even animation from the same era of looney tunes. Either that or Warner Archive remastered that short better than others. They all look good,but if I had to choose which 1 looked the weakest in this set, is olive oyl for president.

The colors look slightly faded,compared to the other 16 shorts in the set. Also animation wise,the cheapest animation will be the final set. In that set whenever we get it,every single short save for 1 or 2 of them,are those shorts we have seen a gazillion times on public domain dvd. I will still buy for completions sake,and curiousity to see how they look restored.

Olive Oyl is working at Surprise Pictures as a script girl, and she decides that remaking the story of Aladdin as a vehicle for her beloved Popeye would be a great idea.
