Upon hearing news that islands in East Blue are being destroyed, Monkey D. Luffy and his crew go to investigate. On their way, however, an outlandish pirate ship appears out of the sky, helmed by the infamous pirate Shiki "the Golden Lion"—a man who ate the Float-Float Fruit and the first ever prisoner to escape from Impel Down. In his quest to defeat the World Government, Shiki kidnaps Nami to be his own navigator and sends the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates to his floating islands as hostages, leaving her in a dilemma.

One Piece Movie 10: Strong World
East Blue in crisis? The news hits the Straw Hat Pirates along their journey. With their hometowns facing a pinch, Luffy and his friends put their adventures on hold and decide to head back to East Blue, when suddenly a mysterious flying pirate ship appears out of the sky. The man heading that ship is none other than the infamous Devil Fruit user, Golden Lion Shiki, the same legendary pirate who managed to escape the great undersea prison Impel Down, and stood among such infamous pirates as the "Pirate King" Gol D.
Roger and Whitebeard. After abducting Nami for her intuitive navigational skills, Shiki sends Luffy and his crew hurdling down to his own personal floating islands. Separated, the crew finds themselves placed in a battle of survival with terrifying beasts in mysterious surroundings. What happens to the Straw Hat pirates? What is Shiki after? An adventure where the Straw Hats place their very lives on the line begins now!
I'm gonna talk some few things i actually did like about this movie! I think it's the best One Piece movie of all, so here we go! I recommend to watch the movie first, so you wont get spoiled Okay as we know the problem started when Nami felt the air pressure changing, and warns her nakamas that a storm is coming, Luffy wanted to also warn the ship above them, and luffy actually succeded to catch their attention by doing this.
Shiki sends a Tone Dial to record the warning. The navigators from Shiki said that there wasn't a storm coming, but it does appear with nami's direction both ships succesfully escape!
Afterwards Shiki kills his navigator for being wrong, and comes down to the Sunny to meet Nami. There he reveals thay he has a devil fruit power. Suddenly Shiki kidnaps Nami, Luffy tried to save her but he couldn't, by controlling Sunny he escapes them and also scattering them among the fragments of the island.
Hahaha yes I know some of you guys hate romance on One Piece, but there are some moments i really cant shut my mouth. I love the way Luffy gets very mad when he hears from the Tone Dial the recording from Nami saying shes gonna join Shiki's crew and omg xD, I know some of you will be like They are nakamas, he will also be like that if she was Robin. Ofcourse he would also be like that if she was Robin, but I mean the conexion and the relationship Nami and Luffy have is unique and i really love those two!
Now here comes the good part, the Badass Straw Hat Pirates! The moment when they are gonna rescue Nami! The Straw Hats burst into the palace using Sunny, then as they walk into the main meeting room. Shiki reveals hundreds of men around them before defeating all those mens, luffy says. Luffy: Nami was simply the vanguard and that they are the main force. Once more using Gear Third, he places his giant foot into the clouds, gaining an electric charge and uses this to enhance his giant axe.
Shiki at first thinks the lightning will kill Luffy, not realizing Luffy's rubber state will protect him. By the time Shiki realizes his mistake, Luffy hits him with the attack, both smashing and electrifying him to the ground, defeating him and destroying an entire island in the process. Luffy is recovered by Billy while the villagers are shown flying away using the wings on their arms.

One Piece Film: Strong World Returning to Theaters Next Month
Not only was it the 10th film in the One Piece series, but having been written by the series creator and considered part of the series canon, it was hyped as the greatest One Piece movie yet. That is some high expectations for one film, yet One Piece: Strong World proves to be a strong film all around, with a compelling story and setting for the Straw Hat Pirates to venture through. However, the question must be raised: is One Piece: Strong World too ambitious a film? Story After awakening on a mysterious set of floating islands, the Straw Hat Pirates must reunite with one another to put a stop to the evil ambitions of Shiki, a dastardly pirate dead set on destroying the East Blue and ultimately the world. The kicker is that Shiki has genetically modified the species on this set of islands resulting in super aggressive monsters out to hunt down our heroes.

This was a pretty fun film, and for Oda's first supervised one its not a bad effort. I love that's its one of the few canonical times Franky wears pants while in the shootout scene. Plus they use the music for this film pretty effectively at Marineford. While I've known of the Sanji scene it just now hit me that the Thor attack in Dresserosa could have been influenced by this film. Looking forward to you seeing the others. It's a pretty basic film all things considered, but I really did like that it's just so quintessentially One Piece? The three Oda-supervised films after this try to do different things with their respective villains, but Strong World always felt pretty solid.
