Yuki Takeya is in love with the school. For her, it's a wonderful place, where she enjoys her school activities, especially the activities of her club: the School Life Club. The club has Rii-san as the president, Kurumi-chan as another member, and the teacher, Megu-nee, always there for them. Yes, she is in love with her school. What follows is the adventures of their club, as they live on the school grounds and mooch off its services for as long as possible! Except that is NOT the case.

School Live Season 2: Is There Any Possibility For A Sequel?
Originally a one panel character whose only purpose was to show us that cute furry animals can become terrifying monsters, his inclusion as a main character in the anime has been met with mixed responses. But looking past that, I think we can all agree that Taroumaru was a true hero this week. And as much as I wanted him to survive, I think his death serves as a important reminder that miracles are tough to come by and you should cherish what you have while you have it. That and at least we get to see Kurumi live on, right? Without diving too much into that though, I personally loved how the show managed to control and transition the tone from happy-go-lucky to downright despair as the episodes came by. Then you have the big secret behind Megu-nee and why Yuki was the only one who was really holding a conversation with her.

This has turned out to be one of those shows were you can never be sure about anything, and surprises tend to crop up out of nowhere. Sometimes, those surprises are good, other times, not so much. This week, we got a boat load of the latter. The thing with it all, though, is it was layered in from the very first episode, it just went unnoticed. Our perception kept us from noticing the true horror that lurks around every corner. When a writing staff can pull off a clever twist like that, I have to give them credit. We open on the last place we saw the real Megumi, a storage room of some type, with the desk she was at, as something shambles past the camera. We are shown enough to know it is Megumi, now a zombie, roaming around where ever it is she ended up after the attack. On the desk lies a book, showing us her final moments in perhaps the cruelest of ways.
