The world of martial arts will never be the same.
Anime Blu-ray Review: Ranma 1/2 OVA & Movies Collection
While the meanings of the titles are ultimately the same, I thought the translations used here made more sense. I suspect that these titles more closely resemble the original Japanese titles than the titles used in the previous DVD sets. It tells the story of a girl named Lychee, who suddenly appears at the Tendo Training Hall with her elephant, Jasmine. She has a score to settle with Happosai, but the arrival of Prince Kirin causes confusion. Thanks to a mix-up, Kirin thinks Akane is supposed to be his bride, and he whisks her away to China. Yes, it does cast Akane once again as being a potential love interest, but with a series like this, it basically has to be this way. It had to be one of the Tendo girls, and Akane makes the most sense. I have to say that between the three theatrical films, this one would come in second place for me. A sudden storm shipwrecks them on an island, and the women in the party start to mysteriously disappear.

I am pleased to say that I was not disappointed, for the most part. Each episode has fantastic along with a new art style. Obviously some serious expense went into these OVAs to make them best looking of the bunch. Each episode has some amount of humor in it, from the good old giggles to downright hilarious. This is also the main weakness of these OVAs. As viewers go through the episodes, it will become apparent that some episodes are much more entertaining than others are.
The last part of the puzzle. We at ComicsOnline. Ranma Saotome, the iconic character created by master artist Rumiko Takahashi, is back for new adventures and more than a few hilarious misunderstandings along the way! The trailer ends with the reveal that the new series will premiere on Japanese television next October. The new voice cast includes Hiroshi Kamiya, who is known for his role as Levi Ackerman in Attack on Titan, and will now voice Ataru, the main character of the anime. Sumire Uesaka will voice Lum, the shaggy-haired princess of the alien Oni race to whom Ataru accidentally becomes engaged.
