Rob Zombie has spent considerable effort over the last decade trying to break into and legitimize himself in the horror filmmaking world. There can be no doubt that Zombie has shown himself to be very passionate about the genre and genuinely is trying to please the would-be fans of his films. Unfortunately for him, it seems that fans have largely been divided by Zombie's works instead of standing unified behind him. Part of this divide is no doubt due to the choice of his projects.

To date, my only knowledge of The Haunted World of El Superbeasto was that it was an animated movie by Rob Zombie and that it sat in my Netflix DVD queue until, much like Egon Spengler, I declared physical media dead and unsubscribed from the disc option. Anyways, the powers that be here at Biff Bam Pop! I was able to clear my normal weekend schedule of watching cartoons to squeeze in an entirely new cartoon.

Well, new to me! In point of fact, and in an odd coincidence. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend as I was at home recovering from a hernia surgery, so the movie got added to my Netflix queue and subsequently forgotten about…until now.

Maybe there should be a commemorative Tenth Anniversary Blu-ray release? The movie must hold the record for the largest amount of animated boobs in a single film. The Haunted World of El Superbeasto is available to rent through most streaming services and is currently free to stream on the Tubi app.

Well, I say child-like sense of wonder, but what I actually mean is child-like sense of giggling like an idiot at rude things. Fart noises, people treading in dog poo and any and all references to boobies are likely to send me into hysterics.
