Every weekday morning in our house my kids know if they've finished their cereal yes we're that cold breakfast cereal kind of family , brushed their teeth, combed their hair, readied their backpacks and are dressed in their school best, they get 30 minutes of time with their favorite cartoon character on. Arthur- a show produced by the faboosh. Of course my nine year-old loves the ongoing storyline between Arthur and how he deals with a bit of a pesky little sister.

Kicking off these five brand -spanking new ARTHUR episodes which my kids are pretty excited about considering that they've pretty much memorized the dialogue from most of season 12's episodes is an episode which focuses on friendships and is aptly titled "When Carl Met George. George; one of the many friendly, relatable characters within the Arthur series, is excited about spending time with his new friend, Carl, who loves to draw trains and knows all kinds of cool facts about them.

George discovers that Carl has Asperger's Syndrome, a form of autism, and that Carl sees the world a bit differently than George and many kids. Despite their differences, George and Carl become great pals - and learn a lot from each other. The story is followed by a live-action segment featuring kids with Asperger's and autism.

We meet Bess and Linnea at Lovelane, a nonprofit organization that provides therapeutic horseback riding to kids with special needs, and then we follow Linnea to her neighborhood school and meet her teacher and.

In his three-and-a-half interview, Arthur Rankin, Jr. He discusses his interest in painting and graphic design that led him to television, where he worked as an art director on several anthology series at ABC.
