How to Unlock Future Trunks as Playable Character in DBZ Kakarot
Unlike many Dragon Ball Z themed titles, Kakarot provides players the opportunities to form and utilize a team of their favorite Z fighters. From kid Gohan to Vegeta, players can assemble an ensemble of their favorite characters from the show. These teams provide players an advantage over their powerful enemies in combat. Every team can develop useful synergies and unleash devastating combination attacks that melt through an enemy's health bar.
Among these characters, players can add the fan-favorite time-traveling hero, Future Trunks. The sword-wielding Super Saiyan is relatively easy to unlock and add to your expansive list of playable fighters.
One of the most popular characters in the entire series, Future Trunks is added to the playable characters in Kakarot. Unlocking the sword-wielding warrior requires players to have beaten the main story. So to add Trunks to your party, players must have defeated the difficult Majin Buu saga. After completing the main storyline, players need to go to West City, the home of Capsule Corp. At this point in the story, players will be incredibly familiar with the location, as it serves major plot importance in both the anime and the game.
As players stand in front of Capsule Corps they'll be met with a prompt stating how they can hear Bulma's cries. Head to the right of Capsule Corps and players will find Future Trunks and Bulma standing in front of a time machine. Dragon Ball as a series always did a fantastic job at introducing new characters throughout to keep things fresh and interesting, with some having longer last impacts over the years. It is hard to argue that there were few characters that were as important and received the adoration level of Future Trunks. While the character does show up in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and is playable throughout the Android saga in the game, unlocking Future Trunks for freeplay is a lot more tricky than some of the other main characters. As a result, we have created a guide that explains how you can get Future Trunks in the post-game section of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. However, that is not the case for all characters in the game.

Giant: As a Namekian, visit Guru's house at Level Speak to Piccolo, then Nail, then Dende, then Piccolo again to begin a fight that will unlock the Giant form. This form drains stamina, but makes you giant and gives unique moves. It is very powerful, but the damage inflicted to you will reflect in your stamina as opposed to your health; once stamina is depleted, the form drops and you will be left in stamina break status. The Golden form provides an increase to Ki blasts and speed, and changes the nature of standard Ki blasts.

For those that don't know, it aims to retell the story of Dragon Ball Z with stunning accuracy, visuals, and gameplay. It's clear that Bandai Namco and developer CyberConnect2 held being faithful to the source material in high regard, so here is every playable character in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot we know of thus far compared to their original anime incarnations. Of course, the re-creation isn't exact, but it's pretty darn close.

Piccolo becomes the main playable character right after the end of the Raditz saga, where Goku gives his life in order to defeat Raditz once and for all. He gets to explore the open areas like Goku can, and meet the various Warriors training to take on the incoming Saiyans Vegeta and Nappa. Additionally, Hara also showed off some in-development footage of Piccolo facing against Great Ape Gohan, who has transformed thanks to having a tail and seeing the moon.

One of the most popular couples in the entire series of Dragon Ball Z is that of the Prince of Saiyans, Vegeta and the brilliant scientist, Bulma Brief. Once Vegeta returns to Earth to train at the Capsule Corporation after the Z Fighters battle with the Androids, he and Bulma can get to know one another on a more personal level. However, there is not much known about how their relationship came to be since it is not explained in the anime or the manga. There is a fan-made doujinshi, or comic, titled ' First Kiss ' by hobbyist and digital artist on 'LongLoveVegeta' that has gained much popularity and helps to shed some light on this mystery. The full doujinshi is no longer available to read online in it's entirely, but the first few chapters can be read on Deviantart here. In an attempt to try to explain how Vegeta and Bulma ended up falling in love, getting married and starting a family, there is an analysis of this fan-made comic as well as other well-thought out theories. As previously mentioned, after the Z Fighters battle with the Androids, Vegeta decides to train extensively in the gravity chamber at the Capsule Corporation, where Bulma lives with her mother and father.
