Chesire Cat costume crafted at home. The head was made of upholstery foam and plasic mesh to form the shape and covered in fur fabric then airbrushed to create the blue stripes. The nose and teeth were hand formed from fimo. The eyes were cast from polyester casting resin then airbrushed on the backside to give a shiny blue color then led lights were wired inside the eyes to make them glow. El wire lights were threaded throughout the head, body and tail to create the "glowing" effect the cheshire cat has. A computer fan was wired into the head for cooling as well.

Thank you City Park for being beautiful! I would not have imagined such a beautiful green space existed so close to the city. Trails and paved roads snake like the Mississippi River around bayous, lakes, ponds, sculptures, fountains, Venetian gondolas, and year-old oaks.

It was beyond my wildest dreams! It's our date place to get away from the kids. We even saw Surrey bikes that you can rent at the Park! They are awesome! A nice place to get away from city traffic. The Spanish moss large draped oaks are gorgeous for picture taking.

Here, the sounds of the city can fill you with life. But in City Park, an oasis for natives and transplants like myself, the sounds of the Big Easy can make you feel safe. And at-home. And City Park is one of the crown jewels! We go there each time we visit! Love it, this is the model all city parks should strive to emulate. City Park is for all the citizens of New Orleans.
