This movie was fun to watch from beginning to end. This is a perfect and clean fun movie for the whole family. Yogi and Boo Boo are adorable and hilarious together. They live in Jellystone Park and often cause trouble for Ranger Smith when they try and steal pic-a-nic baskets. Along the way, Ranger Smith falls for a woman named Rachel who happens to be a documentary filmmaker.

Prime Day ends tonight! As a parent you already may be dreading it. But really, why? Nothing at all. We live in a world where someone decided that Yogi Bear needed a makeover and an introduction to the child consumers of You have to take control.
Step 1: Relax, a single movie never ruined anyone You know that Yogi Bear is a one-joke concept. You know that his thing is simply to run around stealing pic-a-nic baskets. You know that if they made a movie about the Roadrunner and Wile E. They will care about funny cartoon animals and hapless live-action humans and mayhem and food fights and Yogi getting his butt repeatedly paddled. This combination of goofy stuff is the definition of Kid Heaven.
Flood them with six-minute concentrated bursts of the original until they forget the extended, fidget-producing reboot. Better yet? Get on the hunt for those. You can turn on Animal Planet for that. But what you can do is gently point out how suddenly there are dozens of Yogi Bear-themed products lining the shelves at stores. You know it would. Teaching a child to resist the pressures to thoughtlessly buy everything put in front of them is a great accomplishment. That kind of little person grows into an interesting bigger person.

P resumably it was the most dastardly storyline they could dream up for Yogi's comeback: a politician with a made-for-TV smile villainously selling off Jellystone Park's forest to a faceless private developer. Unthinkable, right? But while it might be timely, poor old Yogi has a rough time of it in this miserable 3D assault of humour-free live action and lumpy animation. It takes a special skill, on full display here, to eke not a single giggle out of bears — after all, they do unspeakable things in the woods and have great swinging rumps.

A live action film featuring computer-animated wildlife, Yogi is voiced by life-long fan Dan Ackroyd, his sidekick Boo Boo is Justin Timberlake. A bland and innocuous small-fry outing that retains a measure of the original Hanna-Barbera cartoon's charm, though scarcely enough to justify the time, expense and visual-effects trickery it must have taken to inflate an endearing 2D cartoon into a dopey 3D extravaganza. It's nature vs corporate greed in this latest film for Yogi Bear, partially shot here in good ole NZ. There's exactly one thing about the misbegotten big-screen Yogi Bear that might make you think back with any fondness to the Hanna-Barbera cartoons on which it's based.

Oddly, Daws Butler has turned out to be more irreplaceable than even Mel Blanc! Odds are Yogi's on pay-per-view by March at the latest, and probably showing up on HBO by June, to little or no fanfare not that anyone should or will watch it there, either.
