Mel Blanc was the voice of Warner Bros' most enduring cartoon characters for more than 50 years. Cartoon vocal actor Mel Blanc is seen with his cat Hodge. Blanc died in , but a new Looney Tunes short featuring Sylvester the Cat and Tweety Bird is returning his voice to the big screen.

Blanc reveals in his autobiography that Sylvester's voice and Daffy's were identical, but Daffy's was sped up in post-production.
