Natsuyuki rendezvous ed

Are you a ghost who still earthbound in a flower shop, lingering around your past wife and warding off young men who try to seduce her? If so, you can relate to this show. Trying your best to cope with lost and await the right opportunity to possess somebody. This is a Josei show after all. Both guys trying to pull her on their side and wooing her emotionally and physically. The ghost stuff does not play a major role in my opinion.

This season's featured josei anime about a guy who can see spirits of the dead, a widow who still can't get over the death of her husband, and the relationship between them while working at a flower shop. Tags: dogakobo , natsuyuki rendezvous , summer Episode 1 This episode was pretty nice. So this show is about Hazuki, the part-time florist, is in love with Rokka, manager of the Shimao flower shop. Except that it's not exactly the type that is easy to develop. Not when Rokka was previously married and her husband Atsushi died. Even more so when Hazuki can see his spirit. That conversation on the balcony between Hazuki and Atsushi really sets the tone for the show while Hazuki went out for a smoke.

It seems like Rokka is still too attached considering that she is crying when eating ramen with Hazuki. How this all this goes down will really be something. And then there is Miho entering the scene filling in while Rokka is away.

As with other recent josei shows, the first episode did a nice job setting up the story. I look forward to watching more of this. Comment Post Cancel. Re: Episode 1. Originally posted by Buckeye View Post. Re: Episode 1 I can't decide how I feel about this show.

Mostly because I don't like Ryosuke or Atsushi for that matter. Rokka, on the other hand, I like a lot and that's the reason I'll keep watching it. It looks like there's not a lot of new shows this season that I'm interested in so I was kinda counting on this one.

Oh, and the OP and ED music don't really work for me either. Episode 2 - Once again, Atsushi is dead set on making sure nobody takes Rokka away. Atsushi, you tried your best, but it wasn't enough. After watching this episode, if the two ever end up tying the knot, it will be a miracle. There is Ryosuke being socially awkward, Rokka seemingly having given up on love, and the ghost of Atsushi who is there to make life miserable for Ryosuke until he leaves her alone.

This sets the stage for a great story the rest of the way to see how much the three grow considering that the interest is there, but there are tons of obstacles in the way. Re: Episode 2 With this episode the story really jumped up in my estimation. Rokka is just wonderful. Now if the two boys and that's what they're acting like would just grow up. Of course, this episode brings up the age old question of why the Japanese haven't died out from the common cold.

If sleeping while lying on a table is going to cause you to have a raging fever and faint Re: Episode 2 Really liked getting the flashbacks of Rokka and Atsushi's time together. Get a real scene of how much she loved him this episode, and made me very teary-eyed. Despite Hazuki being awkward, I am interesting in the new relationship going forward too.

He only got to being particularly tactless due to Atsushi's interference. With Atsushi begrudgingly needing Hazuki at the end to help Rokka out, I definitely wonder things will change regarding his meddling. Episode 3 - Oh, what memories. And those bony hands. But you can't push or kick Hazuki out of the way. Wait, there really wasn't a quake?

At least not yet, anyway. That made her cry. Now, we know that Atsushi can inflict curses and make life dangerously miserable for Hazuki.

And after all that, Rokka can't stop thinking about Atsushi. After Hazuki's latest attempt to advance his relationship with Rokka failed, I would have to think that things are about to get ugly. Then there is Atsushi wanting to possess Hazuki. I am thinking that he will have to do it at some point. Re: Episode 3 A scary side to Atsushi this week but Hazuki is getting better at ignoring him.

I'm really enjoying the slow pace and small cast here. I especially liked that Hazuki went to dinner with Miho and got to talk to her. I really like her. Episode 4 - No wonder Rokka was crying. Atsushi asked to take her to an amusement park once. The pirate ship would be better. This could get ugly. Yeah, like Rokka thinks he's serious. Hazuki has had enough for now.

So here, Hazuki came up with the great plan of taking Rokka out on a date to an amusement park to not only connect with her, but to get away from Atsushi. Turns out his social awkwardness has let him down big time that he had no problems letting Atsushi to possess him. Now that Atsushi is back, it will be interesting to see how he connects with Rokka, and how Hazuki will be feeling about this in the end.

Re: Episode 4 Heh, so Atsushi actually does gets to possess Hazuki, and sooner than I was expecting to see it, for whatever reason. This is going to get even more awkward. Still very curious to see what happens regardless. Shin Seikatsu. Re: Episode 1 - We are only a few minutes in, this anime already gives me a good feeling. I really want Ryuusuke and Rokka to be a couple…so who is that guy?

This needs to be clear out soon… - He is a ghost! I would never have guessed that, never. She sure is a nice addition. Giving her flowers may still be a good idea for at least two reasons, because well she loves flowers and it would be flowers prepared for her. I was scared they would wait a couple episodes before he would confess. This is awesome. It was really well done too. I gonna love this show for sure. This will be a great show, I know it will. Episode 5 - Now that Atsushi possesses Hazuki's body, Hazuki is in some fantasy world.

And that's so that Atsushi could give them to Rokka. Blame those contacts. Hazuki's eyesight sure is bad. No wonder he needs contacts. Brings back memories Another good episode here, and it is no wonder Hazuki got drunk before he allows Atsushi to possess him so that he can make Rokka believe that he is acting all gassed and everything due to all those drinks.

It is nice to see the fairy Rokka in the world Hazuki's consciousness currently is located. Re: Episode 5. Today's Birthdays. Tag Cloud. All rights reserved.

One of the hilarious stereotypes and memes about anime is that the OP and ED are designed to be in sheer contrast with each other. If the opening theme sounds like embarking on a fun-filled adventure with friends, the ending song should be as gloomy and melodramatic as possible. Watch On YouTube. As the series revolves around assassinations and how the MCs had their memories erased, the opening theme lulls you into a trance-like state. Inevitably, you empathize with their desire to at least be given the agency to end their journeys and relationship on their own terms. It was only a matter of time before Naotaka Hayashi, one of the creative minds behind games such as Bravely Default and Steins;Gate, came up with Plastic Memories. Viewers are reminded early on that Isla only has 2, hours left to accept and admit her feelings for Tsukasa Mizugaki.

With its simple and compact story line, nothing really gets left out and lose ends are wrapped up. The show follows the premise of a peculiar love triangle. Main character Hazuki happens upon Rokka as she is selling plants at her flower shop near his apartment. He develops a huge crush on her and repeatedly buys flowers from her as an excuse to get closer to her. The love triangle wrench gets thrown in when Hazuki walks in on Rokka with her husband, only to find out that her husband has been deceased for several years and he is the only one who can see his ghost.

Ryousuke Hazuki is a young man whose heart has been stolen away, stopping by the local floral shop daily in order to catch a glimpse of the beautiful Rokka Shimao, the shop's owner. In hopes of getting close to her, he decides to get a part-time job at the shop, but before he is able to make his move, he runs into a major roadblock: in her apartment dwells a ghost who claims to be Rokka's deceased husband.

The summer anime season is proving a wonderful one for those looking for love stories. Pure and simple, right? Well, this is anime, so no The flower shop owner, Shimao Rokka, is a 30 year old widow who, unbeknownst to her, is being haunted by the ghost of her ill ness -fated, beloved husband, Shimao Atsushi. Selfishness plays a large role in love no matter the age of its victims. What NR does so outstandingly in episodes 1—6 is cast such wantonness in a truly ugly light while evoking utter sympathy for the characters on the wrong end of the heart-wrenching scenarios it portrays. The real questions are whose id can help whom more than it can hurt, who will be the first to break the selfishness cycle, and what will be the traumatic event that drives such a change.

Some pages or functions might not work. Hazuki may be near-sighted, but he knows true beauty when he sees it and the delicate form of flower shop owner Rokka draws him in like a bee to honey. So, hoping to cultivate a relationship between them, Hazuki takes a part time job at her shop, only to discover two huge thorns preventing the nurturing of any romance. The first, the fact that Rokka is still grieving for her late husband Shimao, would be enough to snip most men's ardor short, but it's the second that really threatens to make Hazuki's forlorn hopes wilt.

Ryosuke works part-time as a florist. He has bad eyesight, a pure heart, and a secret crush on the store manager, Rokka. Unfortunately for him, Rokka swore off love 8 years ago. But when Ryosuke goes up to her apartment on the second floor, he runs into a good-looking half-naked man.

With the paucity of josei romance anime on the market, the very concept of a show involving a younger guy chasing an older, widowed woman will inevitably draw comparisons to Maison Ikkoku. That's a bit unfair, because the similarities are completely superficial, and this is a very different kind of show.

Natsuyuki Rendezvous was a bittersweet romance anime back in Summer After all, that same season had Sword Art Online among many other high profile shows. So why did I pick Natsuyuki up? Plus, josei and seinen storylines are more… real. Well, as real as stories involving ghosts can go anyway. But, the art is beautiful what with flowers everywhere bear in mind this is before HD broadcasting , the music is gentle and beautiful Muramatsu Ken, famous for his work in Kurenai and leads nicely between the OP by Matsushita Yuuya and ED by aimee; this is one of very few shows I actually sat through both OP and ED for.

Hazuki is secretly in love with his florist boss but his chances of a successful romance seem slim when he not only has to overcome shyness but also the possessive ghost of her dead husband. Does Netflix Quickflix iTunes etc. Natsuyuki Rendezvous Tv Series Imdb.
