The stoner duo return to movies in a really bizarre animated comedy that is definitely Not Safe For Work. His combination of sophomoric humor, deep love of the geeky side of life, and occasional commentary on life in America always makes me smile. So, in a rather shocking moment, he helped release this independent animated film. The basic idea of the film is that, after several bizarre and insane situations that include legal-friendly cameos from the origins of several superheroes, Jay and Silent Bob manage to win a lottery and decide to use the money to become costumed crimefighters, calling themselves Bluntman and Chronic. Jay and Silent Bob are probably one of these duos. Whilst being in all these media products films, comics, animation and recently a book their characters have changed a lot from what they began as. In Clerks , Jay and Silent Bob were scumbag local drug dealers generally causing trouble.

The plot of this movie is Jay And Silent Bob win the lottery and use the money to become superheroes. Yes I know that's not much of a summery but it's honestly the best way to describe the movie plot wise tho the movie is pretty weak with the story pretty much being none existent at it's worst and being weak at it's best but the movie does have fun with this set up and the pacing is pretty good. Incase you don't know who Jay And Silent Bob are the duo first appeared in Kevin Smiths first feature film Clerks and would go on to feature in every film in what is called the View Askewniverse which consists of films such as Clerks , Mallrats , Chasing Amy , Dogma , Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and the sequel to Clerks and i've consulted with Wikipedia and this film does exist in that world but you don't have to have seen every single one of the films in fact the only film i'd say you'd need to have seen is Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. The reason why I said that you need to have seen Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back is because the film pretty much takes place in the comic book Bluntman and Chronic in which the two heroes are based of Jay and Silent Bob heck even the story for this film was actually featured in the Bluntman and Chronic comic book series that was released in and was written by Kevin Smith. I know that there's going to be people out there reading this review and wondering when did this movie come out well to answer that question it came in and was released but in the film was taken on tour with Kevin and Jason and after each showing the duo would do a Q and A the film would then see a digital release in May and a DVD release in September of that same year and in September the film was also added to Netflix but i'm not sure if it's still up on there tho. Now then I do have something to say i've already seen this movie I saw it I think in maybe but I watched it online and I thought nothing of it heck I didn't even review the movie but now years later I noticed all sorts of problems with the film that I didn't notice the first time around so for me now talking about it feels kinda weird since most of the animated movies I review barring a few i'm seeing for the first time.

Kevin Smith taught me a lot about life. I discovered his films at 13, and was fascinated by the comic-book references, the soundtracks, the filthy dialogue, and the strong female characters, who were in control of their sexuality in a way that I had never seen on a screen. For most of my teen years I modelled myself on Joey Lauren Adams in Mallrats, while avoiding any situations where I had to bang someone on a pool table. I listened to Weezer because of the end credits of Mallrats. I bought into every aspect of the View Askewniverse , where the characters all existed and were felt to keep on living after the credits rolled.
Of course, said curiosity yielded the breakthrough of a lifetime for the dude in question, Kevin Smith. The wrap of principal photography for Clerks III was announced by director Smith in a celebratory tweet accompanied by a photo of the cast and producers inside of Quick Stop Groceries, specifically in front of what may very well be the most famous convenience store checkout counter in film history. What an adventure we had! The original scene which you can watch just below was hardly supplemental to the plot, and appears randomly in the film, almost as an interlude utilized for pacing.
