"A More Ancient Spring" | Dinosauria Series | Animated Short Film (2021)

The film takes place 75 million years ago in Cretaceous Alberta and follows a male lambeosaurus searching for a mate during the changing spring season.
This is the second short film in my "Dinosauria Animated Series" and was the most difficult film of the series so far.
I'm really happy with how it turned out though. I'm particularly proud of the atmosphere and visuals on display. I think this might just be the prettiest film I've ever made! The backdrops are certainly the most detailed I've ever produced for a short film and I don't think I've ever been this ambitious with my colour-use before.
This film paints a serene but bittersweet world that I'm really, really proud of! ^_^
