Anime ini bercerita dimana seluruh manusia didunia tiba2 diserang oleh sebuah virus yang membunuh hampir 90% penduduk bumi.
Tapi aneh nya virus itu tidak menyerang anak2 yang berusia 13 tahun kebawah. Kemudian ditengah2 bencana tersebut, muncullah kelompok ras vampire yang mencoba utk menguasai dunia.
para vampire tersebut menangkap manusia2 yang tersisa dan menjadikan mereka seperti makanan ternak. Anak2 yang berusia dibawah 13 tahun ditangkap dan diambil darahnya utk mereka minum.
Salah satunya adalah Yuichiro dan Mika, 2 anak yg berasal dari panti asuhan di wilayah tokyo. Lalu berhasilkah mereka selamat dari vampire2 tersebut?
