Plot:
In the little anecdotal town of Blithe Hollow, Massachusetts, Norman Babcock is a 11-year-old kid who talks with the dead, remembering his late grandma and different phantoms for town. Basically nobody accepts him and he is segregated genuinely from his family while being peered somewhere near his own friends around the school. His dearest companion, Neil Downe, is an overweight kid who is additionally tormented by Alvin and finds in Norman a close ally. Subsequent to practicing a school play recognizing the town's execution of a witch three centuries prior, the young men are gone up against by Norman's alienated and apparently unhinged uncle, Mr. Prenderghast, who lets his nephew know that he before long should take up his standard custom to secure the town. Before long this experience, Mr. Prenderghast passes on from a respiratory failure.

As the children advance toward the Town Hall, the zombies are assaulted by the populace. During the uproar, Norman and his partners break into the chronicles yet can't observe the data they need. As the horde moves to assault Town Hall, the witch storm shows up over the group. Norman trips the Hall's pinnacle to peruse the book, in a final desperate attempt to complete the custom, yet the witch hits the book with lightning, heaving Norman from the pinnacle and profound into the files.
